because we are cold. The body subconsciously is seeking warmth from a layer of fat. Dr Flora, who's been raw since the cows came home, which they have since none of us are eating them, suggests that you take extra care to bundle up INDDORS. I do this. I even wear a little knitted cap on my head (our home tends to be cold). If need be, I'll throw a scarf around my neck. I wear thick wool socks. OK

Low fat is working. High fat doesn't. I eat no more than the equivalent of 120 calories of fat per day and often only every three days or four days. I eat lots of green smoothies, fruits, veggies. I just steer clear of fat. I also cut out salt. That seems to help as well. It is working. Finally. During the winter it is cold here. I am adding plain steamed veggies - as much as I wish - if I n

a chaos inhibitor! Seriously, all you have to do is show up, and your grounded and dry, wry humor just causes everything to become coherent. I think you oughta sell your self as a stocking stuffer. EVERYONE would want one!

Other wise I crave fat like a demon, which isn't so easy on the liver and gall-bladder. I wear little knitted cap on my head indoors. OK, not such a fashion statement, but I bought a pretty white one. I wear layers - turtleneck with sweatshirt or sweater over it. Winter silks - long undies and such will help. And I wear a really thick long pair of wool sockies. And I'm good to go. With love,

I actually wasn't aware of how much the MVP affects the panic state. It explains a great deal to me. Thank you and bless you for being so open. You know what is amazing...in the midst of any emotional state, or physical state for that matter, there I AM - the truth of my Being - always present in the midst of, behind that state. It is good to know that it is this that I AM - and not the state

If you are not that old - which I don't think you are - then it is not a good idea to chelate without getting the amalgams removed, because it WILL pull merc into your body.

Please forgive me - I can't remember the name of Dr. Huggins book....but if you do a search on Amazon, I'll bet you'll find it. Also do a search on (not amazon) mercury detox. More than anything, as I understand it, if the mercury is already leached out into the body, it's simply less expensive, less invasive to let them be, that's all. If you can afford to have them all replaced and have a p

I have a slight MVP, and have had chelation done. Twelve sessions about ten years ago (I still have four amalgams) - which is where I found out my merc and lead levels were over the top. I have never tested positively for them since. I will tell you....that first chelation session about laid me out. It was rough afterwards. but I'm much older than you are. It isn't that rough for most people.

I have been told by my chiropractor that if they've been in there a very long time, that the merc has already leached out and to leave them alone. Not trusting one person's opinion, I also had mscule testing by two independent sources who came up with the same answers: In my case the remaining four amalgams are only contributing maybe 10% to my health. So I'm leaving them in. They've been there f

My goodness - you have a gift! I sense you have a deep love for words - for poetry? It feels you've been schooled in it, or in lit? Would that be true. Dave - you really do, at some point in your life, need to write a book. You have a LOT to say in ways that are utterly accessible to people in their simplicity of potency. I's support that book with my agreement, big time! PG

Yes, I understand what you mean. I have often said to friends that you 'can" eat just about anything in form and get some nourishment out of it. I feel that is because everything in form is part of life and has something of life in it. I could probably take a bite out of my microphone and get some iron and minerals out of it. But when I look around me at life, at the exquisite order an

Ignoring bonobos for the moment, forget history...when you look at an insect, feel it's essence, sense it's purpose....do you really, in your gut knowing, feel that insects were designed by life to be food for mankind? This is not a rhetorical question. I'm curious about your sensing, your knowing. Love, Piano Gal

I am now doing fruit again. It is not having the same spacey effect it did on me, however, I'm not eating tons of high glycemic fruits either - thought lately I have been doing watermelon. The low fruit stint seemed to have helped although now I've moved back to lower fat, more fruit - more natural hygeine approach. I would never eat 40 bananas in a day though. Green smoothies, fruit (non dried)

do the Clorox bath on all your produce. It has been clinically tested to remove almost 90 percent of pesticides. If you don't know how to do it, let me know....I'll put it on the website. It usese the smallest amount of Clorox. It works. It's a blessing in an imperfect world.
