Hi Prana, thanks for your response. I live in Australia and don`t think there is any springs around my area. The filtration system I have eliminates chlorine from the water so I don`t have a problem with this anymore. Just wanted to know if changing PH of water to make it more alkaline would be beneficial or no ?

Hi all, I am really confused when it comes to what water should we drink. I have a proper filtration system at home but water ionizers supposedly are the best water systems. I am looking at water ionizers (kengen water ionizers) as I was watching a few videos on youtube and people recommend it (Lou Corona as an example). There is also comments that kengen water is a myth and not worth investi

Hi all, appreciate your time reading my post and replying to it. To cut the story short, this is my wife who was diagnosed with Lupus around 10 years ago. Sadly according to the doctors the only way of treating this was to take cortisone *(steroids) and for a longer while 1 year or 2 she was on 15-30mg a day. Then the dose was reduced to around 10 for another year (as far as I can remember) an

Hi guys, could you please advice on how to dehydrate tomatoes please ? I have an Excalibur 9 tray dehadrator. I would like to know on how do set the temperature and also how long are you running it for ? I have read somewhere that for the first hour or two you can dehydrate on a high temperature because of the moisture trapped in the veg/fruit. Also, how do you store the end product. Apprecia

Hello guys, I have two questions for you to answer if you don`t mind. 1.We are all talking here about live fresh produce. But if we buy our produce on the market (organic) are all the enzymes still present in the food we buying as in most cases whatever we buy was cut off the roots lets say 3 days ago maybe even more. Don`t enzymes die and vitamins slowly dissapear after a while ? Could s

Hi everyone, is that safe to add radish tops, carrot tops to your smoothies ? Do they have some goodness ? Otherwise tops are wasted especially if they grown organically in my garden. Regards, Peter

Hi everyone, I am about to buy vita-mix 5000 as that`s the only model available in AU and the question is if it`s worth investing in an additional dry container. The Vita-Mix TNC comes with 1 wet container for juice, soup, ice-cream etc. It is $200 extra for the dry container for grinding grain into flour and kneading dough. Is that really usefull or 200$ wasted. I am in the process of transit

Hello, thanks a lot for all the info you gave me. If anyone else has more to say please do so. David, what do you mean that beans can be sprouted ? I was thinking about eating beans which you buy in pockets (dry ones). What do you do with those ? I know that you can buy mung beans, alfa alfa etc but what about dry ones. Do you basically soak them and eat them like that ? What about grains ? T
