I did it for 3 days as an adjunct for detoxifying. I felt good but nothing like what you are describing.

Not familiar with the jar method. I've benefited from drying my sprouts. Excess moisture can cause spoilage. Glad it's working.

If it's working for the author and not you, two possibilities: 1) your dehydrator isn't working right, 2) and more likely, too much moisture in your raw dough. I have the book and the nuts are soaked and "dehydrated". Too much moisture is going to delay drying time.

I watched the aging experts on Charlie Rose (you can see it on Youtube). And contrary to this thread, the overwhelming consensus among those studying caloric restriction is that it has tremendous power. Animal experiments and human studies using biomarkers (humans live too long for randomized controlled trials so biomarkers are a short term proxy) all support the benefit in increased lifespan
