Soy is not something you want to put in your body, trust me. Even if you seem okay with it. Processed soy milk is not a healthy food.

This whole "food is only food if you could eat it until you are full" thing is beyond bizarre to me. There are tons of foods I love but wouldn't sit and eat ONLY that until I was full....

After reading this post: "Guys, Gals, let's promote natural simple health in eating foods that nature provides in natural form. Save yourself time in doctoring up foods, do not waste your precious time in the kitchen, black pepper cannot add any more value to food from nature. Black pepper makes you eat more, denature your natural taste, your threshold for eating, and stop eating. "

Wow, so sorry for what you're going through. First of all, what airline will not allow you to bring a snack on board with you? Ive brought food on every flight I've ever taken... I had a 12 hour flight from Los Angeles to Taipei and I brought an entire case of Lara Bars (mostly raw, not sure if they are 100% though) with me. On domestic flights I usually bring a banana or two. No one has ever

What is life without SPICE? The super pure raw foodists who literally don't use any spices and what not are far too pure for me, lol. It seems pretty extreme to be against even flavoring your food. Or at least, it isn't a life I would want. I consider myself a chef, it's one of my biggest passions, if I was eating plain papaya all day I'd be missing out on a lot of the fun I have in the kitchen.

Most fruit should be alkaline.... I think there are only a few fruits which are not and they are closer to neutral... (Not sure but isn't plums one of them?)

Just remember, when it comes to your rebelling against restrictions- if you mess up, all is not lost. Just go right back to raw without a thought. Sometimes people tend to mess up and think "screw it all, I suck!" and go off to eat Macdonalds with a cloud of shame hanging over them. That is an extreme example of course, but it's a self destruction thing I've seen in myself and others...

For me personally the 801010 approach is too restricting. But if something about it is resonating with you, then maybe it is the path you should go down. I usually find if something stands out, a message comes to me from the universe (like things aligning for you to hear that talk)then it usually means something. Just try it! If nothing else it's a cleanse and you can add more things back in

I have $100 bottle of skin scrub stuff that, to be fair, IS better than anything I've ever used on my skin. I doubt I'll be buying more of it since I can't afford it, but it was definitely good. I'm wondering what I can do as a raw version of that stuff.

I've done many parasite cleanses, some prior to each liver cleanse and some on their own. I used to have a lot of problems with parasites and candida due to a severely compromised immunity when I was young. But since eating more raw and dropping all grain from my diet, I've been able to get my body more clean and alkaline and don't have to be constantly doing parasite cleanses now. Thank God!

Why would you have to live without fruit? I use Redmonds Real Sea Salt myself. But I imagine your salt is good too.

I am going to break my coffee addiction after reading a lot about how bad it is, and just FEELING bad from it... it's odd, but the more raw I get, the more over-stimulated I feel from it and not in a good way. I have one cup a morning now and it's still too much for me which is CRAZY because I used to drink 3 POTS a day... yes POTS... I'm a writer so I can really zone out at the computer and just

I don't know, in my experience the more healthy foods you eat, the finer tuned your senses get and the less likely you are to crave unhealthy things... that said, EVERY time I juice feast, I get the exact same craving for cheese and it is INTENSE.... It's the oddest thing because I never crave dairy any other time and haven't had any dairy in about two years. BUt that addiction must still be

Jojoba is also good! It's very moisturizing, but I didn't notice a decrease in the fine lines of my face until I started using grapeseed. Sometimes I use coconut oil but for the most part it didn't seem to have much anti aging effects either, at least not that I noticed.

"The liver flush, with epsom, olive oil and lemon juice or its variants are a myth and quite dangerous." ^ ^ ^ I respect your opinion, but I feel I have to offer a different view, as someone who has done that liver flush procedure over 12 times and had amazing results, especially the 1st and 5th times I did it, for whatever reason. The results were immediate and long lasting...

It sounds like your friend never even came close to taking the challenge seriously and more got some sort of weird thrill out of seeing you break your veganism... not cool. I've known a few people in my life (back when I tended to have lower self esteem and attract less good people into my world) who would constantly make fun of me for having a different diet (I was vegetarian at the time) and wo

Grapeseed oil is one of my favorite skin things. No "lotion" has ever made my skin as soft and fine as this stuff.

Hey there. I will answer your questions to the best of my ability within my own perspective. *1. Point me to what a raw person keeps as a "pantry"? Like, what does my grocery list look like, what is essential to always have on hand? ----Let's see... things I have on hand... sea salt..apple cider vinegar..extra virgin coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil...dulse... those are some

Everyone is different. What works for some doesn't work for others. But I'm happy for anyone who has found a diet that works for them... the problem I have with the OP and other posts I've seen from certain people obviously supporting the 801010 diet, is the lack of respect for other ways.... It's a very "This is the only right way to eat and everyone else is pathetically misguided" vib

Don't listen for a second to anyone who says autoimmune diseases cannot be healed! I agree strongly with Prana- usually they are unhealed because the person isn't willing to heal them. I once suffered with 90% coverage (only parts of my face and neck were spared) psoriasis. It was horrible... people stared at me on the streets. I was told my doctors that I'd have it the rest of my life, that p
