I enjoyed it. I thought you both were well spoken and respectful. At various times I agreed with you both. My beliefs about diet probably lay somewhere in between both of yours so it was an interesting thing for me to listen to. Will be looking forward to it if they do another one. What I didn't like: The whole, "boxing" battle thing... I know they were trying to be funny or whatever

I'm joining so I can watch this, although I have to admit I'm a little scared of how intense it's probably going to be, lol!

Why do you feel it's a "toxin"? As far as everything I've read it contains many good nutrients and antioxidants. Not saying one should eat gallons of it a day, but it seems a good thing for your diet if you keep it in moderation.

Yes! Sleeping with the Enemy, I love that one! To be fair though I don't "hate" any movies really. I'm quite an easy to please gal.

Oh I know what you mean. I've seen it a lot recently especially with the whole, low fat, high fruit vs fattier diet stuff. I've ranted a lot about this too, it's like come on. It's all RAW! Do we really need to have ANY sort of fighting within the raw community? Everyone wants to find the perfect diet and anyone who thinks they might have found the perfect diet wants to shout it to the world

"Why would you want to focus your life on the horrible?" ^JUst had to address this... See I am a very peaceful person in my real life. I don't like violence or anything like that. But with these movies, it's about the thrill ride. My favorite scary movies are ones where I can relate to the characters who are in trouble, especially when they aren't stupid characters who deserve wh

I love cacao... although it doesn't have that much of a stimulating effect on me. NOwhere near as much as tea or coffee anyway and I like those too (although coffee is probably the worst thing I ever let myself ingest, very unhealthy). I agree any stimulant isn't the healthiest thing but I would rather have some chocolate in my life than worry too much about being perfect. That's funny about

Doesn't it also contain caffeine? It's a tea, no? I don't know a ton about the stuff except that I've had VIOLENT negative reactions every time I've touched it. Various flavors and brands too, so it isn't just some flavoring in it or whatever. I get these huge nasty painful breakouts on my face every time. It sucks too because it's raw and it seems it SHOULD be healthy! I must be allergic to

I shave everything except my arms. Legs, armpits, lady bits, the works. I'm a girly girl. I like to be smooth, soft and sexy. Plus I can't stand the feeling of rubbing lotion or oil into my skin if it's not shaved!

If you have IBS you need to remove foods like gluten from your diet. If you eat soy, remove that too. Both are very hard on the gut. "IBS" is usually a sort of blanket diagnosis they give for symptoms which can be caused by many things, intolerances to food such as gluten being one of them. So yes, I do think raw would help you, mostly because by going raw you'd be removing a lot of

Be careful because most of them DON'T remove fluoride. Distilling does. I am lucky that we get pure mountain spring water at my house, we can drink it straight from the tap. When I still lived in the city, I distilled all my water. (for the record I don't believe the negative theory about distilled water-my grandparents have been drinking nothing but distilled for about 30 years and they a

The digit dance is really cool too. I had an awesome friend who used to do that at raves with these cool light up gloves, it rocked.

Celery juice is good for a gatorade like drink as well. I'd be curious to try a juiced celery and lettuce head + the dates and maybe some pineapple.

I've tried poi as well, but it didn't end up sticking with me. Although it is fun! I think this is a better workout. But oh does it bruise you up. I have bruises all over my body and the really huge nasty one on my side/hip bone is starting to heal up. On a positive note, that is showing just how fast all my raw salads and juicing are healing my body. Bruises have never healed this fast befor

Good job! I've never been much of a runner. I can dance for hours but running? I'll pretty much only do that if a chainsaw murderer or a rabid dog is chasing me.

Hey everyone. I was just curious if any of you guys are into hooping. (Dance) I've been dancing since I was a kid. Lots of different types, I did jazz dance as a child and then grew into a teen and discovered the trance/electronic rave scene. I even got into gogo dance/exotic dance for awhile. Only recently I discovered the hula hoop and I'm in love. I like that it has all the sexiness of exot

The two most important words when it comes to getting started: Smoothies and Salads Try having a big smoothie for breakfast, and a salad for lunch. Then as you're transitioning, maybe have something cooked for dinner. Work towards raw, think of it as a journey not a destination. I am currently not all raw. If you never get to 100% raw that is okay. If you do and it works for you, all the bette

Exactly. Why the extremism? I found that forum to have a lot of bad-talking about vegans and vegetarians as well, it was such an "you're with us or against us" sort of deal, as if caring about animal rights was viewed as unacceptable there. There is a lot of gray area between 100% raw veganism and taking pictures of yourself as you gleefully suck on a raw deer leg (ew)! This forum s

240. Re: paleo
I eat something along the lines of paleo, but with more raw vegan food (no grains here, not even the raw sprouted kind). I try to keep the balance of meals lying closer to the vegan side. Back when I was leaning more toward paleo, I found the same forum you mentioned and was equally put off by the thread featuring member's photos taken while eating raw meat. Regardless of my own veganism or lack
