Yes, the agave I sell is produced by low temperature vacuum dehydration. I don't really understand how it works, but my supplier tells me it is raw... Rob

Aloe vera skin is a laxative so careful how much you eat. I put the gel in smoothies but put the skin on the compost heap! Rob

Yeah, I've not used shampoo for about 7 years, I gave up soap about the same time, and I finally gave up toothpaste a couple of months ago. (I'm brushing my teeth with a mixture of green clay and wheatgrass powder with a few drops of peppermint and tea tree essential oils.) Rob

There are lots of farmers markets on Saturday and Sunday, the details of a lot of them are on the website: For the fresh dates I don't know anywhere in that area, I go to TFC (Turkish Food Centre) in Lewisham, there is one in Dalston which I guess is fairly close to you (The fresh dates I get are not organic but they are cheap!) Hi Becky There are a few shops in London which sell amazing fresh dates, they are so soft and squidgy they can be very easily mashed up into a paste. Where in London are you? Wholefoods Market on Kensigton High Street has a very small section devoted to raw foods - cacao butter, mesquite, lucuma and raw chocolate bars, but they are quite expensive, probably cheaper to buy on line. I pick wild greens everyday and don't wash them. I've been doing this for 5 years and haven't got ill. I wouldn't eat a spoonful of soil, but I will eat the very small amounts which are on the leaves. Rob

The first two years of being raw I didn't use any electrical gadgets (the first year I lived without electricity). Now I use my blender everyday, but I know I could go back to the old way if I wanted (using a hand mincer instead of a food processor and a hand grinder for grinding seeds.) Rob

Thanks Phantom, glad you liked the book, like I said in the other thread it really changed my life! I think it's quite difficult to get the same nutrition as our ancestral diet, but foraging for as much wild food as possible has got to help. The more I research wild food, the more I find, mostly leaves but also a good selection of berries. Try and find a good wild food book for your area - I'v

I think the "what you crave is what you need to eat" idea only applies if what you crave is a fresh raw food. I think some cravings for bad things can still be nutritionally based, just your body is still confused by all the years of bad eating it doesn't quite know which food to get particular nutrients from. There is a good chart here although it is not vegetarian it could stil

I don't follow exact recipes! More clay than wheatgrass. Add the essential oils and mix. Don't add water, just store it dry like that. Then when I want to brush my teeth I dip my dry toothbrush into the mixture and kind of brush with that and saliva in my mouth to form a paste. I tried adding water to the mixture which worked for the first time but by the next day it was dry and stuck to the glas

Just so you know, cacao and cocoa are just two spellings of the same word. (Although of course usually the raw version is called cacao and the cooked version cocoa, this does not have to be the case). (I'm in the UK so I can't answer your question, here there are very few shops which carry those products, mostly you have to buy online.) Rob
