dudess, Do some reading up on calcium bentonite clay - if I had something like a cyst, this would be in my arsenal as one of the first lines of defense. I use it daily now anyway. As close to nature/raw diet/food choices that you can possibly make. Immune building/strengthening juices & smoothies. Reduce stress - get more sleep. Cut out any refined sugar & HFCS.

I would guess the one with the highest watt rating would be the best choice - if you can believe the manufacturer's numbers... We had a couple of Oster's in the past that were fairly powerful...

Okay... I suffered through the whole video...so what is this stuff actually supposed to do for you, health-wise? I see it makes a person act all goofy like they are stoned...I'm not interested in that feeling... "WOW...MAN..." ... "I'm like controlling a movie..." LOL

We talked about it here awhile back. The triturator/grinder can possibly heat the juice, well, pulp during the grinding process if you allow it to happen - but this generally does not occur, esp. with an experienced user.

I used to love them - not so much anymore. We used to get the raw ones from sunfood. The black ones are okay, I kinda prefer green... Chopped up w/ avocado is good...

Interesting events...even though it is old news, & maybe some of you know this. Matt & Angela were married by David Wolfe in 2009. Link to the story - Scroll halfway down the page for the info. BTW, this is not meant to be a David Wolf bashing (in light of some of the other threads) just thought it was an interesting...er...odd? story...

Don't know anything about that particular model... However, I read somewhere that a standard mason jar will thread onto the base of pretty much any blender. Not a V-Mix/Blendtec or hi speed one, but a "standard" one. I know they thread onto the base of my Hamilton Beach just fine...a neat thing to know

My beard hair is very course as well, & my neck is sensitive - so it makes for a non-pleasurable shaving experience in that area...but I manage... The foil/blade assembly should last approx. 1 yr., depending on your shaving habits, of course... I recently replaced the cutter assy. on mine for about $30, purchased online. I figure I would go through more than $30 worth of razor blades in

jodi -Those 4 blade razors gave me a super close shave...back when I used them. It did feel good, but again, the cost... curator - If you purchase an electric online you can really shave some off the price I have a mid level one now - it is a Braun, I forget the number. The key with the electrics is that you need to "touch up" throughout the day. I will hit it around 3-4 times a

Isn't disposable razor blades doing it the wasteful way though? I have been using electrics for years & they have come a long way with the closeness of the shave. I just got fed up with purchasing throwaway blades all the time. Even buying replacements online can get expensive.

coco, I think I have discovered the cure; go shopping...never bring anything into the house except for food and personals. Live by the seat of your pants - only make a purchase when something breaks & you need a replacement. Easier said than done - I am not sure if I can do it.

coco... I don't know why I need all those jeans...why do you need all the socks?!?!? LOL Actually, about 1/2 of them are "work" jeans & 1/2 are "good/dress" jeans. I believe this may come from a childhood when I didn't have very much, so now I guess I like to stock up on stuff...

I've been doing some google about "de-cluttering" & getting rid of things...it is amazing how we accumulate all this garbage & then pack it away & never use it. Why do we do this? How to stop? i will keep searching for the answer... I went through 20 pairs of jeans yesterday & got rid of 5...I guess that's a start...

I have heard it both ways on this one...so I don't know for sure. I freeze produce for use in smoothies/sorbets. I believe that the enzymes remain intact, at least I lean that way judging from what I have read.
