I wonder if each persons answer, to rawfrancois, is a reflection of, if someone has their own biological daughter. Especailly, a teenaged daughter. fresh, would you debate your own biological daughter, all weekend long, why she does not need fat in her diet, and how the monkies can do it, so she should be able to do it, too? Rawfrancois asked us a question. As a mother, I told her what I w

Tragic that the only two, supporting this lovely ladie, to go virtually no fat, are men. Two Brazillian models, sisters, died, not too long ago. One of the girls, was mono dieting on tomatoes. Her sister pulled a simular stunt, and died a few months after her sister did. There is no man or entity on this planet, that would make me starve myself, so I can have a little boy body, that some

I've NEVER seen anyone look healthy on this kind of diet. But that's just my opinion. High fat is just as bad. I would say that if you like the way people look on the Doug Grams diet, then go for it. Even before the raw food diet went big, the low-fat and no-fat diet was big, and all those women, to me, looked haggled. You're young, but it will catch up to you, and wrinkles are very hard t

I've never had a Larabar, because they're not organic. I contacted the company, and they verified that they indeed are not organic. Raw, but not organic, is an oxymoron to me. I'm a food snob.

Blackstrap molasses, has been known to cure iron deficient anemia, at 20% RDA iron, per tbsp. Not raw, yet very healthy. I also use Rapunzel sugar on my grapefruit. It's 11% RDA iron, per tsp. I get my folic acid by eating lots of greens, and I take Mega Foods Blood Builder, on occasion, to make sure I have enough B12, just to be sure. You must have vitamin C (OJ, grapefruit, tomatoes, ect) with

My daughter, was a peaceful, happy baby, and rarely cried. When she had her first vaccination, she got a fever of 105 degrees, screeched and cryed. That was her first and last vaccination. I then read "A Shot in the Dark", and I never immunized my children again. I'm convinced that immunizations are a violent assult, to the human body.

Sorry, Plastic, that your simple question was hijacked. I haven't read Anakens replies because they are too much work for me to read, for some reason. Kookie Karma, is pretty hip, here in Cali. She has 2 yummy granolas.

When I was a teen, I thought is was healthy, and I used a lot of it, and my hands & feet would go numb. I stopped using it and the numbness went away. I started using it again, and the numbness came back. I put 2+2 together. It's Dick & Jane level reading, folks.

Consider it (Tahini) guilty (cooked) until proved innocent (raw). If something is raw, they make a big deal of it on the label. Most of the ones on the shelf are cooked except for a few brands that SAY in HUGE words RAW because they want to get the attention of the raw foodist. I finally tasted a cooked date a few weeks ago. I wouldn't have noticed the diffence a year ago, but the date had

if you google "salard dressing" there are only 2 pages, and they appear to be typos. The other few pages are invalid. The op uses the words "salard dressing" in the same sentence a few times, as if it is being played out. I just won't read that thread anymore, since it bothers me. You can help him jgunn.

Depends on how it's cooked. If it is low heat & slow cooked, then it's ok. If it's high heat, it is hard to digest. Most food I have to eat raw. There are very few things I eat low heat cooked. There are many studies supporting that the higher the heat, the harder to digest. If you want to cook beans or grains, they should be soaked long, sprouted, then low heat baked for a long time. Thi

That is nice. If you read the bag, it says to wash. I have seen that brand before. There is no R in the word salad. SALAD. Are you a troll? The salard thing was played out from the start.

one time I read somewhere, maybe here... someone was saying that they knew of someone who ate the "membrane" of the orange..... I was thinking, they act like the white of the orange is like "dirty genitals" or something. That sad way of thinking is why people are diseased. I've known for years that the white of an orange & citrus is full of bioflavonoids, rutin, hesper

One time, I went on a no-added-salt tangent. I had some personal health problems, so I went to the doc. I never tell my docs about my food choices, just incase it would taint the docs evaluation. My blood sodium was TOO low. That was the ONLY thing that was not within normal ranges. I was eating exteemly healthy at that time, with no added salt. I always request a copy of my labs for my own perso

I look around at all of them to see if there is something intresting. I don't read all posts, just the ones that are short and sweet and get to the point, like Dave Masons... I have ADD when it comes to long posts, blogs and journals, . I just scan over them for key intrests, like studies and research, such as Arugula's posts. Most of my time on internet is on business, stock market & finance
