Could be just another clever marketing scheme. However my local supermarket, Tesco, have smoothies and juices which are raw and unpasturised yet they dont go off until Feb 2014. They are cold pressure treated. Never seen this before. The website is I know it won't be as nourishing as a fresh smoothie and probably not even 100% raw, but i tried it anyway, I wont't die drinking it. I

What's your view on natural wine? Good or bad? I've been reading up onit it and it seems pretty okay. I don't know much about wine or fermenting to be honest. I've been strictly raw for almost a full year now and I haven't drank alcohol. I'm only 21 and all my mates party alot & when I go to parties I just sit there, refusing drinks. Thought naturally fermented wine could be a good substit

I live in the UK so all the Avocados are imported. Last year, every one I bought was perfectly ripe with a perfect nutty flavour and creamy texture. However, this year I am having an awful time with them. The skin colour is all patchy with a mixture of green, brown & red hues & colours. They are all white inside. They are watery & stringy. They have no taste.

It must doing something though because I've seen alot of improvements and I feel great but I know I'm not getting that electical life force that I want. I am thankful for what I have, it's not that bad the food is still nice and I do get some beautifully tasting ones that just get my taste buds going. I just want to know what it would feel like hand picking my food straight off the tree

I've been worried about this for a while. I've been on and off a raw vegan diet for 2 years now but done a solid 10 months of 100% raw, mainly eating fruit. However, all my food comes from big supermarkets. The farmers markets in my local area are made up of meat, jams & potatoes. Not really any fruit & veg & I don't have any space to grow my own. I live in the UK & mos

I'm currently growing my hair long at the moment but It seems to get greasy and oily all the time. I tried to make my own shampoo but I can't get the same results my 'natural' shampoo (which contains a gazillion ingredients) does. I want to stop using this shampoo and find a shampoo or anything else with less and pure ingredients. To me it doesn't seem natural to wash your hair but I feel like

I find this article bias and sick, I'm not a violent or angry person but I would love to punch the guy who wrote this square in the face. This is just another way to control the nation. Next they will be saying ALL raw food is bad for you.

Apparently we did live on just fruit. I'm currently ready a book basically about what THeSt0rm has just questioned. It's called 'Left in the Dark' and written by a raw vegan, Tony Wright. It talks about the biodiversity effect of the forest on our ancestors and evolution. He talks about how we were a greater and more advanced species and our brains were bigger due to the chemicals in the

I am writing a 10,000 word essay on raw food. I am going to talk about our forest ancestors' diets and argue how that is the best benifical diet for us rather than todays diets such as meat and cooked food. I will talk about how are bodies are designed for raw food and not meat and so on... Does anybody know of any books, articles, talks, experiments and resources like that to do with this top

I always wonder about this. I always think it's what you ate before coming raw, like eating and drinking foods with refined sugars and syrups that damage your teeth. People say eating a lot of fruit damages your teeth, I didn't believe that in the slightest but now I do. People have foods and drinks that damage their teeth such a coke and it wears away the enamal and rots your teeth, as they

Every time I go to a social event like a BBQ or a party, I get asked questions why I don't eat meat. I have a been a vegetarian all my life, I am 20. I became a vegan 2 years ago and now recently I am raw. I don't mind people asking me a few questions but then you get one idiot who doesn't understand and ignorant to that fact you don't eat meat. I always come across them. They starting askin

Hi, I'm from the UK and I'm a raw vegan but I mainly live off fruit. I was wondering if anyone knows locations where I can go on holiday where I don't have to worry about my diet ? or even better, where I can pick my food straight from the tree ? Thanks
