take a big bowl. peel some leafs of romaine lettuces, and make them around the bowl like a big flower. then, make a guacamole. then, make a salsa, but not a just tomato salsa... add oranges, kiwi, banana, strawberry, celery, or other interesting things to give it more personality. oh, mango is a good combo with tomato. then, put the guacamole, and the salsa on the lettuces, and then put lik

i've seen photos and a lot of the foods look really oily. i think the fresher it is is probably the best, but if you don't have a choice people need to do what they can what they think is the best choice for them. i would personally just stock up on fruits and veggies and eat them plain if i didn't have enough time. that's actually what i do anyway, so i guess i'm a little biased.

yea, smoothies are a great idea to pack in the calories. =) i hate what happens to bananas though when you put them in smoothies. they have this bitter edge to them. i think smoothying the bananas makes them gross. I heard that if you pulse the blender, then it removes the bitter edge. like they get like that when you get the tornado in the top because the air gets in and they oxidize. i

some people love it, some people do not. some people say mushrooms are not a fruit or a veg, and should not be consumed. some people say that the probiotics are rawkin and super great for you. some people say that they are only for people who don't have good functioning bacteria in the first place i think. trippy little mushrooms.

eddie it changes a lot. sometimes i like some things, and other times i like other things. usually i will be attracted to one fruit more then all other fruits, and my day will be mainly of that. like in my banana days i would eat over 20 bananas a day. i don't know why, but for some reason i just started to crave bananas, and then it was mostly all i wanted to eat. i made banana salads, i at

i've had this juicer for a few years, and i dig it. sometimes i feel like it's a little slow cuz i am REALLY impatient american valley girl type, but it is worth the price imo. i think it's a great juicer. easy cleanup. it does juice wheatgrass. i've only used the wheatgrass juicer when i worked at the juice bar, and it juices it just like that. for the money, i think it's really great fo

someone showed me this site today: it is not raw food, but it shows a different new gourmet dish every day. i was wondering if there was a website like this for raw food, or just a raw food website with lots and lots of photos of food to look through. i don't eat raw gourmet food, but i don't know why i just LOOVE to look at it. it's so wonderful.

that is very interesting. thank you so much for the advice. i will definitely keep this in mind. the hardcore kimchi obsession has subsided. i plan to end the fast sometime next week i think. maybe i will take it through to the end of lent, but i'm not sure. i've fasted through lent, but i am not religious. i'm not even sure when the fast thing ends. i just remember there was a thre

i've never had them before, but i know they are pasturized. if you are at a place, and they have naked juice, i'm sure they also have better options to choose from. a banana, or even a bottle of spring water.

can you please explain to me how or why the bacteria gets out of balance? i just want to understand better the process that is going on in my body right now. i've never been on such a long fast, and i feel really good, and i want to be gentle and as educated as possible. how come the juicing makes the bacteria out of balance? i don't understand. it is very interesting though. i was th
