The organic Hawaiian,Nutrex,Pacifica is a good one. The tablets are easier, but powder is good too. Cost is @ 17. on line or at the store, for 200 tabs, or 5 0z. bottle. good luck from Pa., may be cheaper where you live. Janice

I actually spelled it wrong; it is Triphalic. The research I did, seemed like the capsule was better. I got the Organic India type from www.herbspro.com which had the best price. It is also supposed to lower BP and Cholesterol. Thanks for reading. Janice

Started using triphala about a week ago. It is a vedic herb meaning 3 fruits. It has helped me with bloating and constipation, and I lost 4 lbs in a couple days. Anyone here use it, or in the past? Thanks for any input. Janice

Hi Beckyann, The flax seeds, even ground up are known to cause problems to people with a tendancy toward irritable bowel syndrome. I have had this difficulty with flax, though it is said to be good for you. Psyllim husk, powered is very good, but can cause gas until body gets used to it. It helps both constip and diarrhea. Good luck, Janice

Coco, I love your reply! My husband, a sweet thoughtful man, eats meat and is a dairy manager for a large market for 31 years . I have been trying to lovingly educate him . I feel most of the people on ths forum are lightyears above most of the population. I learn something ever time I log on to this wonderful site! Janice

I am interested to ask for some feedback from anyone who experienced a reduction in their belly fat from going raw. there is some info out there saying that stress causes belly fat due to increased cortisol. They have drugs on the market to combat this, but I am very suspect of that as a fraud. When i did the Master cleanse 3x's it really helped, but that is a harsh way to do it. I try to eat h

have done it 3x's and lost around 10 lbs each time. I did keep it off for several times too. I agree, it is a catalyst for change of diet. You need to follow the instructions. check out the exact formulation/directions on the master cleanse website. Most people, I found are not strong enough to follow it. Know your own limits, but it's worth a try. Janice

Hi all, thanks for all the thoughts and ideas. I bought a bottle of Vermont castile soap fro a health food store in mint aroma. I have brushed my teeth with a few drops afew times with good results. I does not contain glycerine like Bonner's does. So, I wanted to try it , diluted in my hair. My hair is fine, and I get a semi perm coloring to color the white/grey's at the salon. I wanted to see

I use liquid SEA ALOE. It is whole food derived. My husband and I have used it for 5 years now, and swear by it. I t must be high in antioxidants- we are much more healthy, even though he still is a meat eater/cooked food person despite my "influences". If you want more info e-mail me-- jshaage@comcast.ne

50. Mistake
I made the mistake of eating some vegetarian chili(365 whole foods organic "mild" in a can. I had a salad I made with some fresh red cabbage in it. Talk about gas!!!!I could have driven a few miles in my Subaru on it! The organic soy is not good for me. I threw the rest out. Lesson learned. Happy Valentine"s Day to you all! Janice

I FIGURED OUT THAT IT COST JUST 4CENTS A PILL, IAM TAKING 5-6 PILLS/DAY. IT IS AN ONGOING THING, FROM WHAT I READ, IT'S ENZYMES WE MAKE IN OUR BODY, BUT AFTER AGE 27, WE LOSE THE ABILITY TO MAKE AS MUCH OVER THE YEARS. THIS REPLACES THAT. ANYWAY AFTER MUCH THINKING I THOUGHT IT WORTH IT TO TRY. REGARDS TO ALL, JANICE

Thanks to all of you who responded to my post. The surgeon evaluated me and said that surgery would be too risky, that they would have to enter from my chest, and ther are no gaurentees. They are sending me to a pain clinic in 2 weeks for injections, etc. I am not sure that is the right course, but am willing to try. Nutritionally, I am still on my journey to raw vegan. I am vegetarian for 2.5 y
