I found that site after someone commented on how all the saturated fat in the coconut oil would give me heart disease and I had to find out for myself. I think you're right uti, we shouldn't pay attention to studies as much as we should pay attention to our own personal experience. I just thought it was interesting that they were healthy because there is this common sentiment that fat is

Popcorn is a great food to help with cravings. I read a post by DZM where he said that he ate loads of popcorn while transitioning, ever since then I've been eating popcorn loaded with whatever spices and sauces I feel cravings for, it's much better than giving into to the cravings totally. I DON'T feel toxic, bloated and heavy the next day, it's almost like I didn't cheat. Popcorn is mostly

Interesting info about how pacific island people eat tons of coconut oil and are healthy! We know what coconut oil does for the skin, it looks like it has the same healthy effect on the inside even though it is saturated fat. There are quite a few studies that have been done on traditional diets in tropical areas that are high in coconut oil consumption. These studies back up the fact that

That's so great sunshine, I totally enjoy the ease of fruit preparation too. I'm starting to think of greens as medicine, they are very healing in the beginning of a raw transition, and then you need less of them!

I've binged a lot, it's discouraging. Just start again at the next meal, is there anything else you can do but start again? You don't want to go back to cooked all the time, you logically know how bad that is. Good luck!

Lot's of times people will try out the diets that they write about and when you go from SAD (which is what I assume this writer is eating) and having food siting in your stomach for 4 hours digesting after you eat, to eating raw and having the food there for maybe an hour or less, you do get hungry and miserable. You start wondering what it is that you are doing wrong, it takes a while to get int

Sorry, can't help you, I don't consider myself a fruitarian, and it's nothing I aspire to. I was wondering if you are going to give the diet a test drive? I think the biggest difference you will find is that you don't eat three meals a day, you need to graze all day. It can be quite discouraging to try this diet if you expect to eat just three times a day, because you will always feel hungry.

I just ran across this article which says that people deficient in candida develop cancer. Candida's true function is to serve as a secondary digestive system, when our primary digestive system is overwhelmed. As such, when I hear someone say, "How do I kill my Candida?, I have a little cringe. Specifically Candida metabolizes/digests/breaks down necrotic (dead) material in our

I think that you are right about fruit being altered from the wild, but is that really a reason to avoid the fruit category? Maybe we need to find the few fruits which have been really altered. Too bad the article didn't list the fruits that were the basis of the "domestic fruit is 30 times more sweet than wild fruit" claim. So I looked in the USDA Nutrient Data Laboritory and they l

Now I've got a question. If the SWF is working because the body recognizes it as a toxin, then shouldn't it work everytime, without fail, regardless of how it is measured?

I read in Paul Bragg's book on fasting that he would put underweight people on fasts to help them gain weight (that's right!). The idea was that the fast would clean up their digestive system and they would then be able to absorb more nutrients.

Paris sounds fun! I love that painting of Napoleon's coronation, I once had it on my wall. What do you mean the book covers are blank, don't they have the titles on them, how do you tell what book it is? It doesn't sound right I must be not understanding it. Please tell!

Thanks for telling us your story shep!! I didn't get goosebumps, I guess that's because I've read dozens of near death experiences that are very similar to yours. It always makes me joyfull to hear of how wonderful the otherside is, thanks for sharing :-)

You do NOT absorb the salt, when mixed in the right proportions the salt water flush is as salty as the blood and CANNOT be absorbed. Below are the complete instructions, it is basically a saline enema, doctors will prescribe a saline enema before they examine your colon with an internal camera, and they will send you to the drug store to buy a bottle of salty water and instruct you to drink it a

It's really great, better than an enema IMO. Just make sure to get the measurements right, I mis-measured once, I doubled the salt and it didn't work. Oh, and you need to live in the bathroom for about an hour, starting about 1/2 hour after you drink it, and you will want a shower afterwards.

This thread had good info on rice keilee. shep - I never met a rawfooder who had a near death experience before. I know that it is really common for that experience to make people more spiritual. Now were you raw before that happened or did that experience help make you raw, as in, you were exposed to all the love and light while you were over there and when you came back you wanted to eat

I think cheese is heated in the process of making it. Oatmeal is heated twice in the process of making it Steps 4 and 8 on this link. I just did research on this and talked to a manufacturer and they said that raw oats go rancid so fast that they don't sell them raw :-(

Hi Narz, I clicked on your link and it takes me to your amazon.com picks but I don't see a link to the forum or chat room anywhere. I used a search engine to find your forum and then it took me awhile to find the "raw food" section of your forum becaue it was labled "Health, Diet and Fitness". Even once I was in it, I was unsure if I should be discusing raw food there o

In 325 A.D. the Council of Nicea edited the New Testament to conform with Emperor Constantine's wishes and then went on a massive book-burning campaign to get rid of unedited copies of the New Testament. Some copies survived, and they are the books the essenes use today. If you read through them you can tell where things have been edited. Here is the complete Gospel of the Holy Twelve, if

I should probably qualify my praise of this booklet by saying that it's not a detailed Hulda Clark book, in fact it doesn't have a Parasite cleanse, I wish it did. It's more simply written but I think it might be read by someone who never reads health stuff, just because it is so small.

I just bought 2 of these "Cleansing or Surgery" booklets to give as gifts. They have a lot of cleanses in them, and they explain them well, (they also have an extremist Christian theme to them) but I find them handy to refer to and I think that they will be a great way to introduce people to the concept of cleansing. At $6.50, they are cheap too.
