dont confuse hybrids with GMO's (genetically modified) .. two totally different things .. hybrids are just crosses of the same types of plants generally for better results... GMO's are plants crosses with entirely different speices of plants, animals and organisms hybrids can and usually do yeild seeds .. just the seeds dont always give you the same results of the parent plant you took it from

when i go to the public pool in winter i coat myself head to toe with a slick coat of coconut oil including my hair so far ive managed to get in do my thing an get out without anyone noticing any sort of oil slick floating around me lol

i sprouted a coconut this last summer using this guys method then ate the spongey inside .. i think they call it queens candy ..it was pretty cool it took about 5 weeks for me to get a sprout gonna try it again this summer

i got one of these that i pack from house to car and car to work it can stay in the car if i want to keep it cool but it holds alot . i keep my whole fruits and salads in there i also keep containers of nuts and seeds at my desk and my homemade versions of trail mixes etc. there is no kitchen here just a mini bar fridge that my boss keeps stock full of soda pop but i manage to jockey a

cartilage (and tendons) is one of the more harder to heal parts of the body due to the dense nature of the material and low blood flow. intersting subject looking forward to solutions. we learned in massage therapy class that gentle massage to the damage cartilage and tendons increases bloodflow and healing to the area. curious what else can help

I think if anyone has a history of eating disorders especially with anorexia , or bulemia, there can be a real fuzzy fine line and a slippery slope between fasting (because you think its good for you) and starving (because that is what the crazy mind is telling you to do) . Personally I would suggest against any unsupervised fast, if someone has a history of eating disorders. Im with HH

lol LaV indeed ! yep i finally buckled and bought 2 ceramic knives at the PNE (pacific national exhibition - its a large summer fair in vancouver) this last summer. Really like them but im soooo scared im gonna drop them on the ceramic floor and shatter them lol

Diana here is a vid on how to make your own pvc racks .. all this stuff you can get at your local hardware/plumbing supply pretty cheap If setting up a rack inside i would definitely put some sort of bin underneath for drainage to protect your floors from drippng or go to a hydroponic store and see if they have some large flood trays that could serve the purpose personally i use one

i cut up most of my veggies twice a week and keep them in glass containers in the fridge .. i find fruits dont withstand this procedure as well so i keep them whole and eat them this way or cut them when needed

A little trick I use when making raw soups is to heat my bowl up with boiling hot water. Then use the hot bowl with my soup. The radiating heat from the bowl makes me feel like I'm having a nice hot bowl of soup even though its only warm to the tongue it's hot on the outside to my hands
