Yes, we have literally done everything with him and craniosacral is one of them. Right now at 15, he is tired of me trying to 'fix' him so it's mainly just homeopathy and a Brainbuilder software program. Along with some raw foods and supplements. I know you mean well, Jill, and you don't know me from Adam so please don't take this personally. But I was afraid when I posted that post that peopl

I've made a realization and I will try to explain it, but it may not make sense to a lot of people. Most of the time I am not really enjoying life and the now. I am enduring life and getting something done and anticipating the future, when I will be done with what I am doing or have to do the next task. One Reiki practitioner told me I wasn't really in my body, I was off to the side of my body

Who Knew? Dr. Mercola's comments on this are at . Is Your Appendix Really a Useless Organ? Your appendix, long touted by doctors to have no apparent purpose, turns out to be good for something after all. Surgeons and immunologists from Duke University Medical School believe your appendix produces and protects the good bacteria in your gut. There are more bacteria in your body than cel

I just wanted to point out that Angela Stokes ate a 70% raw diet for quite awhile and lost a lot of weight and regained health. Her story is here . I think she eats all raw now though. Maybe you can't digest the cheese as well as your brother. Even Dr. Mercola, who recommends raw cheese to his clients, cannot eat it himself as he cannot digest it. It could be detox, but with the cheese I am th

I look forward to following your raw journey here. I think most of us have gone and off the raw food journey at some time. This forum is a big help in sticking with it. And for me, colonics or enemas help with the cravings. For others, other approaches work.

Experts conclude over-the-counter drugs don't help older kids either And to think I used to give my kids Triaminic when they were in daycare... If you read the article, they also admit that the medicines probably don't work for 6 - 11 year olds either but they were afraid to take them off the market as parents would resort to adult medicines instead. If they don't work for kids, why

Good point. Yeah, go ahead and put mercury in my mouth but don't you dare xray me! I agree that the xrays are necessary, they have found things that needed taken care of for me...

Thanks, Camille, it is great to hear feedback from someone who worked in the profession. I agree that the high suicide rates among dentist was probably caused by the mercury they ingested. I bet hygienists' health and emotional states in offices that used mercury were affected also. The hygienists you knew were smart not to work in those offices. I didn't know about the amalgum tattoo, wow.

I've corrupted you, Camille. Aaggh! lol My colonic did make me lighter! I weighed 100 pounds this morning. My endocrinologist was very happy with my improvement and asked me what the secret was, since she had about given up on me. I told her I switched to eating raw vegan. Then she started asking me if I had to take insulin when I ate meat and I said yes. After the appointment was over, I r

I do not have a dehydrator and haven't used my juicer in ages (although I should). I started out just relying on a cutting board and a knife to make my salads and I was eating fresh fruit as well, along with some nuts. I did eventually buy a nice blender and I love it and use it often, but it is doable without it. I agree with everyone else, don't stress yourself over doing it perfect at first

Mislu, I think people in these countries are protein malnutritioned because they must rely on grains and starches - not fresh fruits & vegetables - for the majority of their food. It's sad, but the world is set up agriculturally and economically to rely on grains for the majority of its calories. Without the grains, most of the world would starve. It needs to change. The fruit tree initiat

I hope I am not taking over this forum. There are just so many good articles out there! This is from a newsletter from . Some good points in the article are: * mercury fillings contain 50% of the most toxic poison known that is not radioactive * The FDA could reclassify mercury from Class I (of no health significance, where it is now) to either Class II, which calls for record keeping o

This article was from nutritiondata.com. I thought it was interesting. Their nutrient search tool shows the highest veggie source to be mushrooms, sesame seeds, and pumpkin seeds. I also saw parsley had some. Too much perfume? Could be a zinc deficiency. Do you know someone who wears too much perfume or cologne? Although it's extremely unpleasant for their co-workers and those sitting cl

Ju, are you doing okay with the probiotic supplement? The reason I ask is that I heard that too much probiotics can also cause trapped gas. If you are doing okay with the probiotics, my thought is to continue with that for now and then maybe eventually try fermented foods again. Maybe a liver detox would help you?

Walnuts, Camille? I thought you didn't eat nuts, so that surprised me. Went to the fair again this weekend, just with my daughter this time. We had a good time. She had ice cream and a snow cone. I ate an apple I brought with me. Got lots of walking exercise, so that is good. Then I came home and made a nori veggie roll, it was yummy. I did a home colonic tonight and a lot came out and I

I generally skip breakfast and don't start eating until noon. I think I read that a lot of other raw foodists tend to do this too. But then when I start eating, I eat whenever I get hungry which may be every 2 or 3 hours.

I think a raw food diet would help. One reason is that she would be avoiding all processed foods which a lot of them include soy in the form of soybean oil and soy plays havoc with the thyroid. Search www.mercola.com for soy to see what I mean. Also, any canned foods and plastics contain Bisphenol-a which is a synthetic estrogen. I also read that cruciferous veggies & cabbage can inhib
