every day. * run 30-60 minutes 3-4x/week * high intensity bodyweight stuff 15-20 min 2x/week * kettlebells 45 min 2x/week that's only about 5 hours a week. counteracting the 40+ hrs i spend sitting at my desk at work!

our aesthetic preferences are generally well in place by adulthood. not that they can't be altered/informed by new experiences, but i think you would probably be wrong to sweep your hands and say "raw vegan women typically like these types of men". there's nothing typical about us!

arugula maybe you can help me. i recently made friends with a very nice guy, really smart, a nephrologist. when i was telling him about my diet, he was really openminded and, after questioning me a bit, said "i think its brilliant! i think you should add a glass of milk once in a while, though..." lol. but then a few days later he came back to me with an argument that i couldn't really

also... can you drop the thought that you "failed this woman so badly"? whatever you went through together was a learning experience for her too, and it was the exact thing that she needed to experience to open up her next chapter. and no, genuine self love does not preclude having a partner. what it does preclude is the belief that you need one to be happy. what if instead of two p

we never "lose" a relationship with someone we love. what you gained from it, the lessons you learned, are a part of who you are today, just as assuredly your souls are deeply intertwined, even if you never have any further contact with that person for the rest of this lifetime. the relationship has changed, and change is inevitable. you can be sure that whatever the change is, it is fo

i ditched the nama shoyu, the miso, and the sea salt... my body feels really HYDRATED these days despite the fact that i drink very little water. and the other night i went out to a restaurant with friends and had my first salad with no dressing, no oil, no vinegar, no lemon juice, no nothing... it was delicious!!!

hey phantom! sorry you're feeling poorly. embrace your fever, its your body trying to fend off something. you can help it along so it doesn't have to work so hard to raise your body temperature by wrapping up in a bunch of blankets, getting lots of sleep, and staying hydrated. (i like my coconut water room temperature too, btw.) what nice timing to have the next days off so you have time to

hey mislu, i'm not an ayurveda student, just a patient of an amazing practitioner. i know that "shalajit" was one of the ingredients in a custom formula of mine for a time, and from my notes here she said it was a hormone balancer and boosted "heat"/yang energy in the body (i always write down what the ingredients do because i am curious). just so you know, it is a REAL ayurve

david, thank you for undergoing all of this so that all of us could benefit from the information. i know you never had a concern in your head for yourself, and your only motivation for being poked, jabbed, and run around the mulberry bush (twice!) was so that the concerns and worries of a lot of other people in this community could be put to rest. i've said it before, i'll say it again. you r
