I've had sores come and go now for maybe a year now, especially during winter time. Makes me think that maybe I should do something about it! They are not that severe, hardly shows. But sometimes in the mornings if I yawn hugely they can rip apart and start to bleed. First I thought that maybe I had a deficiency in some fatty acid, or vitamin E. But I have been improving this intake for three

Eating enough calories is very important, no wonder you are tired. I would add some grains, if you are sure you're metabolism handles grains well. Sprouted or soaked grains add a lot. You may also sprout quinoa, or cook it if you don't like the taste of them raw. Don't skip breakfast if you feel you are hungry all day. Some people need to eat a good meal in the morning, soaked buckwheat porridg

Hi! I have been searching the net for quite some time for complete nutritional facts on hemp seeds without any luck. I need those so I can feed them in my cron-o-meter (which is so awesome by the way). I find a lot of information about hemp and nutrition, but not the complete nutrition, like amino acids and minerals etc. I wonder if someone here happens to have those facts somewhere, or kn

Wow, this sure is getting complicated. I just bought some B12 supplement, I was considering spirulina, but I'm not totally sure if it really does contain B12, it did not say that on the package. D vitamin pills I eat little now and during winter time. Is there really not any D3 out there that isn't animal based by the way?

Weeell, of course you can. But rice noodles and tofu is definitely not raw food. It's ok to add some cooked things if you feel like it, one does not have to be 100% raw to get some benefits from this diet.

Same here, I haven't seen any hulled seeds. I guess they are more nutritious because there are more minerals and fiber in the hull.

Thanks a bunch for all the good suggestions! For starters I think I will order the 80/10/10 and the Hippocrates LifeForce.

I also wonder if any of those hippocrates teachings would be a good investment too? I have read some Ann Wigmore, and there was a lot of good stuff in those, I wonder what your opinions about her teachings are?

Hello there everyone! I've been on and off this raw food thing, mostly because I didn't have enough motivation to go on with it. But now I do have just that! So I think it is also time for me to invest in some informative and motivational raw food literature. What book would you guys recommend for a starter? What are your favorite books on the raw food topic? I will really keep this up

I don't think it's that important, if you don't feel much of a difference of being 50-60% or 100%, then I don't see any reason to try being 100%. I feel that the more raw my food is, the better I feel. Sometimes my stomach can be quite empty, and I don't want to eat too much bananas (it becomes quite expensive). So I shew on some bread from time to time, it's not a biggie.

I have some hemp hearts too, would love to hear some recipes. I use them to make milk out of the seeds. It is very yummy and nutritious. Just mix water and seeds in a mixer.

Well, I'm not having any yet. But I'm concerned anyway because my teeth are very sensitive and they start hurting easily. So I wonder if there is a risk of getting tooth aches from eating a lot of fruit? Like in the 80/10/10 diet? Thanks

I myself love feeling floaty, but not all the time of course. I can relate to the meat dreams, I have them myself at times. I guess it is just frustration, that almost everyone around you still eats meat while you don't. At least that is how I feel about them. Some tips on grounding: I don't think that grounding meditation will help you, you seem to have floated a bit too high for that Wh

Seems like, at least according to the article, that humans DO have padding, and a very marvelous sort of too. Take a look at your foot. The thing is that we don't use them like we should, so they go all baby and it hurts to walk without shoes. I love walking barefoot, this summer I wore shoes very seldom. Haven't run without shoes though, I would love to do that. But my soles aren't that hardy

Hi there everyone! I'm just wondering if anyone ever have experienced hairloss when going raw? I'm just concerned, because I know a few people who had this sort of problems when they went vegan. I wonder what caused that. Or maybe going raw only makes ones hair grow better? Just wondering.

"Man the Hunted" seems like a very interesting book, something that really would bring up discussion at the bar table This is the turn around evidence we need, I'm so sick and tired of people talking about man in the beginning was a predator, a barbarian who ate only meat! Agree that low carb is stupid. By the way I'm laughing at the advertisement I'm having here below, first on
