This Friday I am going to go to the dentist to fix enamel damage. I always thought citrus fruit was the cause. Nope. I did it with my toothbrush. Unbelievable! It would cost around $2.000. So I going to get fixed only a few of my teeth for now which are the most sensitive. I going to figure out something to use instead of toothbrush. Water-pick or something.

I remember being not only a very picky eater (Meat, no thanks, bread no thanks...) but I eat alarmingly small amount as a child and because i was VERY thin, (but healthy and energetic) EVERYBODY was killing me about that, for looong years to come. All the relatives waned to fatten me up, but I stayed skin and bone no matter what. Even in preschool (back in Europe) a women forcefully cram som

Hello Dear All, I `m thinking about trying clay, like bentonite and the like internally. As I searched about , it seems that it`s very beneficial for getting minerals and for nails, hair etc.. However, as I understand plants contain that kind of minerals, that are the most available for our body to absorb. I don`t know if the minerals in clay are as highly bio-available as they are in plant

Hi, Does anyone have any solution for split ends of hair? Funny that this problem occur now, when I am 99-100% raw and I am into green smoothies for two years. One book about Chinese "body-reading" claims that split ends could be result of too much water or liquid consumption. I have no idea, but it`s not a good sign. Or could it be detox? I eat dry nori seaweed too, for minerals.

I agree not ask age (not only because I am a Europian HEHE) not because vanity but the ninety-something years old Norman Walker advised in one of his book that when you eat raw do not share your age, because people usualy put you in a certain category, based on your age and not based on your newly gained health and energy level or on your hopefuly youthful outlook. I thougt abou it an then I fol

Hi, I usually just read and learn from this forum, but this strange thing is happening with me and I thought I ask. Seemingly if I cheat and start to eat cooked food, my hair starts to fall in an alarming rate. It happened 3-4 times, that is how many times I fell off the wagon. And as soon as I eat raw again, even if some hair still comes out, the quantity is nowhere near to the hair loss

I think those people who take enzyme (between meals, so it`s not the digestive type of enzymes) experience color changes. On the other hand Tonya Zavasta long time raw guru has dark eyes, clear and nice but still dark.

I read the book 80-10-10 Diet. The author wrote that candida is really problem on a high fat diet. Many raw-foodist eats very high fat diet because they use nuts and avocado a lot. Once if the fat intake lowered (10% permanently or even less for the first couple weeks) the candida can go away within weeks. Now, I just got into this so I don`t have much experience. There are people on this forum

Although she uses too much nuts, still one of the best and complication free book is Ani Phyo`s. Ani`s raw food kitchen is the title. Especially if someone is new in raw these recipes are tasty, easy and some of them are really good for substituting foods that hard to say good by like burgers. I simply try to alter the ratio of nuts and veggies to have less fat in some recipes.

My Mom ( Who is into raw eating with me) had blood test not long time ago. I told her that I read in one book that raw foodist usually have low white blood count which is good sign, because the body`s system does not have to deal with an ongoing mini emergency situation after every cooked food meal. I did not mention anything to the doctor only when he saw the result he told us that the white blo

I finished the book Quantum Eating couple weeks ago. I think the book is impressive just like the author`s look. I like Tonya`s thorough research and pioneer work. Since I learn it from the book, I do 14-18 hours of dry fasting and I have no problem with. But listen to her warning if you are thin (as I am) eat your last meal around 5 pm instead 2 pm for a while. She also wrote that you need to

Thanks. This is exactly what I was afraid of. If i create a balance by putting hormones in my body, than my system will stop working on the problem and I can`t stop taking this outer source of hormones. I did`t read the 8-1-1 book, but I really getting close to that eating pattern and I try lower my fat intake. I believe that my body naturally going to work on balancing hormones. Lejla
