Recently I attended the Living Expo in S.F. Calif and sat in on a seminar by Brenda Cobb from the Living Foods Institute. And at their booth they were offering scans which supposedly checks ALL internal organs, glands, allergies, stress, hormones, metabolism, inflammation, live, kidneys, thyroid, brain, heart, lungs, pancreas, adrenals, through skin and hair. It also claims to check for heavy med

Does anybody know if the that test for iodine deficiency really works? The one where you put some iodine tenture on a soft body part and if it disappears in less than an hour that means you are deficient. Thanks in advance!

I just completed a 21 day juice fast. I noticed in the last few days or so, my green star got pretty warm to the touch, and the juice actually came out luke warm. I have owned it for about 3 years, but have used it more in the past 21 days than the full time I have owned it. Anyone else have this issue with their green star? Thanks!

This was posted on one of my meetup groups and thought it would be a good idea pass it along. ******************************************************************************* Hello, In 2007 we created a petition to rally support from all people worldwide who care about preserving their diminishing health freedom rights. We did this in response to a Federal mandate that declared as of Augus

Is there anyway of knowing? I know organic would not be GMO, but I don't believe I have ever seen organic corn on the cob where I live. Thanks!

Hello all, I am curious as to why raw agave has become the boggie man among some raw fooders. Yet, I still see it being used in raw food recipes. I have even heard it likened to high fructose corn syrup, which we all know is very, very bad for your health. Thanks for your help Denise

I cried during the first animal video...then had to fast forward through the second one. I tried just covering my eyes, but couldn't bare to even hear the sounds. I still feel sick...BUT...I am glad I watched it as it helped me to remove any lingering doubts I had about needing to eat animals, reinforcing in my own mine that I will never, never, ever, ever again consume any animal products....and

Greetings! I have been following 811 and use a lot of bananas as my main calorie source. I am finding it hard to get and keep a supply of very ripe bananas on hand, and was wondering if there is not some way to speed the ripening process. Maybe turn the oven on and place them on top of stove? What does a 811 person due if you run out of bananas? Seems like it would be hard to get enough to e

....or...more like mango frustration :-( What is the deal with mangos these days? I live in No. Cal and mangos have been on sale a lot lately, so I have been stocking up. Problem is almost all of them are no good! Therefore a waste of money..not good. It is very hard to tell a good mango. They can feel & look ripe but when you cut into it, will be dark & ugly looking. So I tried

Anyone here with reactive hypoglycemia who has been sucessfull on the raw foods diet? If so, I would like to hear what your typical days diet is like. My past two attemps were using the 80/10/10 and my blood sugar would drop down to the low 5o's. Not a good feeling. Thanks in advance for your advise! Denise

Hi All, I fell off the raw wagon about a year ago and am trying to get back for about a week now. Today I experienced a plunged in my blood sugar about 4-5 hours after my banana/date/maca smoothie. My blood sugar went down to 67; not a pleasant experience. I had watermelon for breakfast & had some cacao nibs mid morning. I have been using the nibs to help me through my coffee with

Hi All! I really would be so thankful and appreciative for any feed back to my concern. I started raw in Jan 08 and did really good for about 6 mo. Thereafter I was on & off the raw wagon until I started 8/10/10 in Sept 08, had a good 6-8 weeks on it and then by mid Dec I was totally back on SAD. I could not manage to get my self back on the raw wagon the whole winter!! And I was beginn
