Hey sproutarian guy is there anything about the fermentation process that I need to know about? It sounds like you can use the same water to ferment all the sprouts. Can you drink the water after? Or isn't it drinkable? Jalan

Hey sproutarian guy, you've givin me the motivation to do what you've said, to ferment my sprouts, and also try others as well. It might take me to the next level, actually I reckon it will as it sounds so logical to me. Haha Mislu, yeah, people would freak lol. Can you tell me where you got that info? BJ, that's a good point re Rhino's etc., and their huge bulk and bones yet they don't dri

That pic of Calcium is great Mislu. The first thing that entered my mind was, 'Why aren't we all like the 'Wolverine'??? haha I reckon the reason why people visualise calcium as being white is due to the dairy industry using the media pushing the idea about milk, yoghurt contaning heaps of calcium haha. I asked a lady at the shops the other day what colour she thinks calcium is, and she said yel

I love raw mushies, and I remember as a child the whole family with baskets in hand walking out into the cattle paddocks after a few days of a good storm including a couple of days of sunny weather. The paddocks would be full of huge mushies, and we'd fill our baskets to the brim. At home we'd have to soak them, as there was always some form of bug that liked mushies as much as we did. Those days

That was a good conversation Storm/Sproutarian with a little humour included. It's what we don't know that's the problem I believe. As far as calcium deficiency, I've read many conflicting research papers that there must be so many 'external variables' that influence the outcome, and it's difficult to actually prove anything. I believe we can up to a point, though from then on, anyones guess w

I'd appreciate it if you could supply the links to other articles than the ones you've supplied please. I've given up trying to have a calm discussion with people regarding 'calcium'. Most people think of calcium as being white which is just propoganda re the dairy industry. And when I suggest that there's much more calcium in vegies than milk I'm almost hung from the nearest pole. Then they g

Yes, we all have decisions to make. Sometimes they're good and some bad, depending on the outcome and circumstances. All these people promoting this and that food, saying they do this or that for our bodies or spirituality etc. It's great in my opinion, cause it gives me extra info to sort through and compare with what I already know. And perhaps I'm interested enough to do a little researc

Hi Coconutcream, there's some really good conversation here re your problem. One thing I didn't read is the extra amount of work you do re preparing different meals for your family and for yourself. Although, your post did suggest that you might eat some of what your family eats, so perhaps I'm a little wrong there. Just the same, what does comes through is your frustration and unhappiness, but a

The sodium fluoride added to most water systems isn't natural, but is a by-product from aluminium and fertilizer manufacture. Calcium fluoride is natural, and may not be present in your spring water if that's what you drink. From my research back in the 70's, the only filtration system to remove fluoride is by reverse osmosis. I guess distilled water would as well, but I'm not sure. As far as

That's great clank congrats. I too have had amazing results from coffee enemas re detox from heavy meds. I started last year as nothing else would really help me and I'd have such bad withdrawals/anxiety etc. I've had really good help from people on here too, so I reckon it's a combo of a number of strategies. Pretty soon I'll be back to my old self again and I begin uni again soon too after a lo

There has been some great explanations and suggestions for treating your anxiety Clank. Everyone's experience is different, so work on what benefits you, which you seem to have found. One thing you mentioned was exercise. Exercise is very beneficial for anyone suffering anxiety since it reduces/burns off the adrenalin that has been released by the 'cortisol' due to the stress from whatever is

Thank you Rab. I agree with you to, that the majority of people are mind slaves, based on their upbringing, what they were taught and what they saw and experienced as they grew up in their particular culture. To me, 'A culture is a way of living based on a social system and the meanings that are applied to it'. And each culture has stereotypical beliefs that are so entrenched, that it's near impo

Hi, I suppose you can soak them for a couple of days changing the water frequently. I think that should soften them enough for eating. Though I don't really know, as I've always done the above and then simmered them for half an hour before adding to my salad. It's not entirely raw, but the simmering maked them more palatable for me anyway. jalan

But it does John, it has everything to do with the origin of life, since the formation of the universe steadily formed all the elements that we know of and those that we don't, ever since the currently accepted view we have of the 'big bang' theory the creation/formation of the universe. Everyone that I've met who believes in evolution will not give an inch, and vice versa I'm afraid. That is

John, I've had a good read of quite a lot of the material you have posted, and as far as I can see, it's all descriptive. Yet, it doesn't give explanations for the variations that are seen. I was expecting some form of scientific data which had been gained from extensive research rather that only to describe what has been found. I'm afraid this is a continuation of what I mostly always find. A

You're making a lot of assumptions jimtoo, such as 'eventually migrating leading to today's form'. What makes you believe that the fossilised fish that was found is a relative anyway. All fish are related if you what to play that game. There is so much scientific research that's based on assumptions. Anyway, what makes you think that a creator didn't experiment? Wouldn't you?

I saw the news clip, and it looked like she still had some breast material there. I've never thought about it, but are there bra's that give the impression of full breasts? Since the problem was in the family, I can understand why she had the op performed. She obviously doesn't believe in the alternative methods to destroy cancer. And even if she did, it would be extremely difficult not to hav

Thx John, I'll head over there, and I respect you jimtoo and thx for being fair. But don't get me wrong, as there's a lot that religion has to answer for, such as most of histories wars, but I'm not debating various religious teachings, only whether we were created or evolved from nothing. When a creature displays a certain ability, then I beleive that the creature was created with that ability a

I'm sorry that you find it hard to respect my opinion jimtoo, though I still respect yours. And since you don't due to the 'science of the day', I'd like you to post a link or two to this irrefutable evidence for evolution based on the 'science of the day', as I'd very much like to read it. I'm open minded, and if you can indeed produce such irrefutable evidence, then I'd have to seriously consid

Yes Janetc, I think you have a right to be mad, and I was mad too and was the reason why I challenged him. You'll find a lot of people doing what they did, they have an audience, so they use it to their advantage, very unprofessional. Jimtoo, you might be shocked to find that not all scientists believe in evolution, and I've not found any genuine evidence for evolution in my studies. If there

I will relate my view regarding food shortly; however, first I would like to say that I'm a spiritual person, but not religious. By this I mean that I don't practice organised religion. I totally believe in a creator, for the complexity of our universe couldn't just come about by 'blind' chance, not matter how many millions of years had passed. I had an assignment at University regarding this, an

I'm all for building up tolerance slowly, though the face is very prone to sunburn for some reason. Perhaps the facial skin is more sensitive, and I'm very conscious of using hats and sunies when out, and standing in the shade for a chat rather than in the sun. It's precautions like these that really make a difference, and all it really is, is awareness. But when swimming, I use a skin coloured
