you can try to use: wax paper parchment paper saran wrap (not reccomended) most people purchase the teflex, although its higher price, it is reusable and will last many years. there is a new product out call paraflexx ultra that is silicon instead of teflon based, which you might also consider. its more expensive than teflex.

8-10 avocados a day is too much for long term health. Of course, eating 8-10 avocados a day is better than eating a hamburger or steak, but its better to concentrate on eating fresh leafy green vegetables and some fruits instead of avocados. I reccomend no more than 1 or 2 a day, at the most.

if your doing the 80/10/10 approach according to doug graham, then cayenne would be "no go". As irritant/stimulating foods is a NO with doug. I personally think its ok to include sometimes, if fresh and ripe. I believe nightshades should only be eaten when they are absolutely ripe, that means no tomatoes in december when they are pink! I would consider garlic/onions/hot peppers

a body does not need fish oil to get omega 3 fatty acids. Our bodies can convert things like flax, hemp, chia seeds that have omega 3's into DHA (which is why they say fish oil is so good. Where does the fish get its omega 3? From Algae. We can also eat VEGAN algae to get our DHA There is a product by Flora called UDO's choice DHA that cotains all the omega 3, omega 6 and omega 9 and DH

I use a jar with a stainless lid. I found the cheesecloth lids always got "slimy" and funky. I also use a sprout bag, which works quite well.

save your money. its best to grow sprouts the old fashioned way... with jars, baskets or bags. unless of course.. you absolutely do not have the time.

they sprout, but I would not reccomend eating them. Most beans have toxins in the bean, that are only released when they are cooked, so even if you sprout beans, they are still toxic.. Wonder why you get gas when you eat beans?? Its the toxins!

some dates may be steamed to "plump" them up. Buy dates directly from a grower to insure they are really raw. dates are a dried fruit... they are sun dried..

You can try using things like: parchement paper wax paper saran wrap instead of the teflex sheets. I prefer parchment paper, but stuff can stick to it. They are now selling "silicone" sheets, "paraflex ultra" that are silicone non-stick sheets (resuable) Teflex is available at:

#1: Powerful blender, such as a vitamix or Champ HP3, or Infinity blender if you can afford the vitamix or HP3). #2: Food Processor (large, 14 cup) #3: Juicer - Omega 8003/8005. #4: Dehydrator. Its best to minimize the amount of dehydrated foods one eats. Freshest is Bestest.

Oat groats have been steam processed before they are sold, so even "oat groats" are not raw. Quick Oats are not raw either. Try eating ground flax seeds instead. Yummm.

White powdered stevia and the stevia liquid is not raw. The whole green leaf or green leaf powder MAY be raw (but its like dried fruit- may be heated too high). I grow my own stevia and eat it fresh/dehydrate at a low temp, so you can be raw..

YES, they are wonderful, and I eat them when they are in season. I just dug a whole bunch out of my back yard. Years ago, I went with David Wolfe to Peoples in San Diego and introduced him to Sunchokes, he had never had them before.. We ate sunchokes in the car and chatted.. He had taken me to pick sun dried olives off a tree.. This was way before he got popluar.

Best to limit your consumption of nuts to no more than 2 handfuls a day.. eating it in the form of nut butter is beter than eating nuts, since there is more surface area and can be digested easier. Best to minimize nuts as they are "heavy" and calorically dense. I like to eat my daily nut allowance by blending them in a blender (ie: orange juice and macadamia nuts) which would be

sounds like you let the grass grow too long. When the grass gets too long, it is no longer "juicy" It should be cut when it is between 5" and 8" tall Using a specialized wheatgrass juicer is a must to extract wheatgrass juice. Otherwise, just put it in your mouth and chew it until its dry! Our mouths are good juice extractors... if we just use them as such and chew our

Hi I personally like the omega 8003/8005 for juicing greens. Why? its easier to clean. The green star does juice greens well, but the cleaning can be a bit cumbersome. If you think its a pain to juice, you will not juice as often. The green star does juice things like carrots more effectively than the omega 8003. The omega 8003/8005 does juice wheatgrass MORE effectively than

I would reccomend the lequip mini 110.5, its only $99.99 and works well and is an ejection juicer like the omega 4000. At home, I use the omega 8005(for leafy greens) and the lequip mini 110.5 for carrots, and the harder veggies.
