High amounts of minerals esp in wheatgrass and other nutrients can assist with hair growth and color. Internet research will give you more details.

The sources above are good, though a bit costly. I use to have an almond source, but they ran out. Sept/Oct is the new crop. Brazil nuts supposedly don't need to be soaked, according to many sources. Same with other nuts. I guess because they don't sprout.

You can make a sapote pudding alone or with banana or dates or a smoothie. If it's Mamey (my favorite), besides those options, here's a savory recipe. I've never tried it, but it sounds delicious. Mamey Salad Greens Mamey, chopped Tomato, chopped Olive Oil Dash Salt

It should always be a combination of both, but really you should create your own rules. The longer you are raw or just eating healthier, the more you can distinguish what your body needs. Anything that can cause issues if you eat it or have too much is something to have very little of or eliminate ie: high fats. Grains are usually hard to digest, but as with anything there are exceptions. Alwa

Just blend them to get the same benefits-soup, sauce, etc. I love tomatoes raw, cooking ruins everything wonderful about them.

I have found the majority of mineral supplements to be a waste. I've tried many such as cellfood, Waiora, IntraMAX, & various other mineral & oxygen supplements. They made no difference in my health regardless of the quantities used. Though many say they've had success with them, so I don't discount them altogether. I finally found two supplements more than worth the money: Adya Clarity &

Supposedly all organic pineapple is ripe when green. Posted on another forum: How to eat Pineapple so it won't hurt your mouth: cut the top or bottom off and let it sit on a plate in the fridge for a few hrs. This does something chemically & it's easier to eat. Also make sure that all the skin is removed. It's often the skin that is making your mouth sore so be sure every little bit is

Many reasons. Mainly it's fine for someone very sick with something like cancer who has zero or very little knowledge about health. It's not a bad place, there's just much better especially for the price. I've spoken with former employees too, which has confirmed my original opinion from when I visited. Like I said, it can be wonderful when there's no other options. Tree of Life-if you just watch

The proper way to fast is by consuming an abundance of greens (leafy greens/celery) or green supplements to counteract the sugars from fruits. If you do this, you should have very few issues other than a bit of detox, which often isn't for long. For those not interested in losing weight, juice feasting (4-5 quarts minimum) is the better option so you can get enough calories. You can add chlorella

What was in the juices you were consuming and approximately how much were you drinking? Were you doing anything else besides just produce? If it's done correctly, you should have little issues.

I've never tried chinese celery, sounds interesting. Wouldn't be the thick, crunchiness I like from regular celery so I guess it would be used in something blended. I still don't like the flavor of it added to certain dishes. Like I use to hate tuna w/celery and I still would if I ate it. Blended into a soup it delicious. I stayed away from iceberg for a really long time thinking it had no val

When I became raw, the two things I was strict on is it must be raw and organic. To me it's worth it for health reasons. If I must get conventional, which I rarely do, I clean with vinegar. You can make your own cleanser, but it still doesn't counteract all the toxins. So just do the best you can.

He's wrong. Celery is a completely amazing source of minerals like leafy greens are. Vegetables in general are low calories, but that doesn't equal no nutritional value. It's really a great food for obtaining electrolytes when needed. It naturally has sodium in it, so adding more doesn't make sense. Besides alone, it tastes good with spices like cayenne or curry powder and/or dipped in olive oil.

I've been making them for years, though I call them soups. Usually some type of fat (like avocado or olive oil) is needed to make them taste real good, but others you don't need it. Here's a couple: Celery Tomato Soup 1 large or 2 sm Tomato 2-3 Celery Stalks 4-8 oz Orange juice Garlic Water (or more juice/tomato) Cucumber Soup 1 Cucumber 2-4 cups Greens ½-1 Avocado Cilantro, P

Usually those selling any juicer abides by the manufacturer return policy, which in this case is 30 days. So you don't have to worry about where you buy it from. Also have only heard good feedback regarding Omega's customer service which is available for anyone who owns their juicers.

Mamey sapote is completely amazing, one of my favorites. I hardly ever get to eat it though. I'm always trying to describe it to people and say that it's like a sweet potato that's already soft and creamy without having to cook it. I did once give in and have it conventional, but found it wasn't the same at all so I'd definitely stick with organic for this fruit.

Very, very quiet. I never even really think about it, but it's a nice bonus. Guess I'm so use to the loud vitamix that noise normallu doesn't even phase me. Unless I'm trying a blendtec. That thing is ridiculous, think you can get hearing loss from it.

The reconditioned Vitamix directly from the company is really good because they make it as close to new as possible. Plus you have the full warranty. So if one isn't going to get new, this is definitely the next best choice.

It's not raw, but I guess if you're cooking with it, it doesn't matter much. Anything that comes in tin can't be the best quality. It's very rare to find a true, organic raw olive oil. There's only a couple in the U.S. and maybe 1-2 others imported.

You can use any speed as long as it doesn't get hot. It's only going to get cooked at prolonged high speeds. If it's a Vitamix, or other similar blender, you never need to run it for long anyhow. A less expensive blender will need a bit longer, but it still shouldn't be too much. Just always make sure to use plenty of liquid when needed. If for any reason you need to run a blender longer for some

Garden Of Life Primal Defense Ultra. After using probiotics for years, that's one of the most potent ones. Plus it has Saccharomyces boulardii which provides the correct B-12, Vit D & other nutrients we need. I've had to many health benefits from it in strengthening my immune system, healing candida/digestive issues, etc. Fermented food I found isn't always the greatest. I guess if it's su

Other than eating alone, make into pudding either alone or with other fruit. Can add greens to it for a green pudding.
