i think my overeating is exactly what you are saying...out of boredom, anger, depression, ect. i have had some issues in the past that have happened with my family that are hard for me to forgive and forget. i should be over them, but im not. i always tell people to look toward the future and look at the happy things,i wonder why i cant do that. guess easier said than done. but i totally agree, i

im sure this is a typical story. i used to eat healthy and then got a bf who basically ate only fast food. i kept on wanting him to try some fruits and veggies and then i would try a little of his fast food. here i am now, with an everday struggle. i have begun to love fast food even thought its terrible for me. and its not only that, i eat for like two or three people. i eat till its hard to bre

this is my second time around as well, and i know how difficult it can be. i have to heard the comments of this diet not being healthy, and not being able to socialize and eat meals with others. don't give up, i know temptations can get extremely strong and sometimes unbearable. like now, i really really want taco bell and some ice cream drumsticks that my boyfriend is now taunting me with right

I truely appreciate it! im really excited, today i ate everything raw and i loved it. in the past when i was eating raw foods to loose weight and because it was the ultimate vegan diet. in the past, eating was a chore- couldn't believe how addicting food was to me. now, i am enjoying eating as many fruits and veggies as i please. i have severe depression an

i think that i am going to try eating one type of fruit or vegetable for each meal/snack throughout the day. seems like i will be able to limit my fat intake some. i cant wait for spring and summer to bring local fruits and veggies. i did hear that the body takes 14 days for a habit to set and the body to get used to newly learned routine. im hoping that my fat cravings will go down after i buckl

alright, this might seem like a silly question. i read over and over people eating mostly fruits, mostly veggies, and others who eat fruits, veggies, nuts, and sprouted items. which are most beneficial, or is it just on personal preference of what one eats. i dont want to be eating too much nuts during the day with the whole avocadoes i eat along with coconuts, and oils. i am doing this diet to h

sorry i haven't been on lately. i had been thinking tyhat this rawfood diet was too much for me....wrong! i ate SAD for a couple of days, then went back to this. this is my first day back being completely raw and i feel great. i've been exercising and feel so pumped up to head down the path of being raw. when eating SAD foods and exercising, i felt i was taking two steps back. i was exercising wi

im in a serious relationship now going on two years. my boyfriend has no interest in becoming raw, let alone eating veggies or fruits. it does make it difficult when we decide what to eat, i usually just make him his cooked SAD meal and then make my raw meal. we eat together then and its fine. he supports me trying to get a healthier lifestyle, its just difficult because i tend to crave what he i

i think this is a great idea. i do so good starting off everyday, and think i wont have any cravings. i dont know why, when my bf comes home, he just eats what he wants and its so hard for me to stick to raw. i feel so deprived when he eats his SAD food next to me even though i know its not healthy. we've both decided we wanted to eat healthier, me doing raw and him not doing so much junk. it has

thank you so much everyone.. ive been wanting to go raw vegan, but was afraid of not getting enough nutrients. its great to know that by eating fruits, veggies, and nuts one gets a more concentrated amount of nutrients. im really excited to begin this 100% raw journey. im stoked. ive noticed that when i crave SAD foods and eat them, they dont satisfy me and i feel 'sick to my stomach' after eatin

thanks everyone, i had no idea. i did just order some raw power that has hemp powder, berries, wheat grass, and so much other stuff that easily mixes into drinks and has a tremendous amount of protien. just awesome to know that i now dont have to rely on "protien" powders and can just eat my day full of fruits and veggies.

if i were to be a picky raw and only eat fruit for breakfast maybe a smoothie, veggie wraps for lunch with a serving of raw pumkin seeds, and fruit smoothie for dinner with fruit or veggies. if i were only to drink water, would i get enough protien and calcium for my daily needs. i would prob put some leaves of kale in my evening smoothie. besides that, just fruits and veggies with one serving of

i actually went to the gym to work out today instead of just "saying" that i was going to be going. it feels great...man, i have to say that it was really hard to get motivated. i know being healthy is great, but it was so hard running that treadmill. i only could push myself to do 2 miles. yeah, was really hard to do and was totally out of breaths with cramps. i tried my hardest to bre

i just joined my old gym which i belonged to before i became lazy =) im really excited to get into shape and fuel my body with the proper nutrients. i tried some recipes to make the raw life more exciting and similar to what i used to eat, but i think i just like fresh food rather than dehydrating with recipies. my next attempt is to try nut milk, probably almond. i used to drink only soymilk bef
