What is the best way to go raw? Jump in 100% or gradual? Has anyone read the "12 steps to gong raw"? Finally what do you think of people that say if you are not 100% raw...it does not count? I think if you stopped smoking 80% of your cigarettes it would be beneficial...but of course you will not feel the full benefits. the 100% thing scares me in terms of time for shopping, money

No, I am not in the photos...The oies were delicious. One thing my wife noticed was that there were many children there, and they were all well behaved. Now I dont know if the kids were raw, but I am pretty sure the children that were there did not eat fruit loops for breakfast. hehe

I am in my transition to a mostly raw diet. bMy breakfast lunch and snacks are pretty much all raw. I sometimes have a cooked supper. Last night I made a vegan pizza and was surprised that after only 2 pieces I was anchored!!! I can usually polish off the whole thing. I did not eat anything for hours before dinner either. Did you guys (who transitioned slowly) feel this?

I am still in the "transition" mode and soy products were a life saver. If nothng else they got me off that nasty meat!! One night I was lying in bed and not feeling very good. I went over what I ate that day. I had some soy protein isolate in my smoothie. A veggie (soy protein) burger for lunch, and veggie and tofu mix for dinner and then some soya milk at night!! I thought h

I mixed the raw almond powder with some grated carrots, celery . onions peppers and made a veggie paste. I put a little Dijon mustard to spice it up. Is mustard raw? I am thinking probably not.

I know this may seem obvious to all of you but...I just squeezed some fresh OJ as opposed to having the pasteurized Tropicana and my God it was yummy. I have not done that in years. Definitely not cheaper but there is nothng I can do about that.

I have posted a few questions but not yet introduced myself. I am 37 live and live in Canada. I am not raw…yet, but it is a goal of mine. I have always taken care of myself but like most people was raised on milk, meat and potatoes as well as a Sunday night Mc Donalds visit. Recently 2 health issues had my wife and I re-examine what we eat. My wife had to have her gall bladder remove

I spend a lot of time out of town. My job brings me to some very remote places of Northern Canada. Some of these villages do not always have fruits and veggies. When I go for a few days I bring lots of stuff with me but usually run out. What could I bring that is small and very nutrtious and filling. Nuts? What kinds? Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

I dont know if this is raw or not (maybe someone can tell me) but I use this sometimes. You have to make the colour darker than what you would normally make a coffee or it will taste weak. Oh, I just read on the website that it is roasted..so I guess it is not raw.

Thanks for the tips. I noticed you said olive oil. I thought I read somewhere that oils were not "raw". I hope they are. I love olive oil and flax seed oil. I have one raw restaurant near me, I have not been there yet though. I have seen some of those crackers at the health food store, They are pricy like 5 dolaars for 10 little crackers. Thanks for the encouragement.

29. Bread
Hi, I am new here. I am not raw. I am barely a vegetarian. But the raw concept intrigues me, and it is a goal of mine in the future. I am 37 years old male, in fairly good shape. I weigh 150 and exercise reguarly. I already eat lots of fruits veggies and nuts (as much organic as possible) I am just wondering what is wrong with bread. I am not eating wonderbread. This is what I eat.
