lol Coco, I think your probably right . They will be thinking twice when they start to produce hippy soldiers. Mans first thought upon any new discovery : how can we use this development to FORCE reality into alignment with our ideals, in this case people.

I don't want to premote FB here, but to keep it all in perspective I think that it is an incredibly usefull tool like many of our technologies today. Take cell phones for instance, they almost rival the internet in their power of communication and synchronisation ( I still don't want one for health reasons though ). I reckon that your negative sentiments are most probably motivated by an aware

I saw The weeping camel tonight. Fairly cool movie if your into culture studies. It's set in the Gobi desert of Mongolia and is about a typical extended nomadic family who live by their animal heards. It has some real nice footage of the nomadic way of life, and a real interesting story about one of their traditions.

Yeah I liked that one Shar It had me feeling a bit empty at the end though, although I certainly loved the change in the professor by the end.

Hi all. I just thought I'd post a link to an interview with a guy who talks about his understanding of our awareness as a non linier unity. I find it very insightfull and thought that some of you might like it as well.

Yeah Tam. It amazes me how shallow the average persons consideration toward entertainment is. As long as there is some excuse to move one scene to the next, people don't seem to mind how absurd it might be. It is like they are prepared to accept anything that comes on a screen. My brother gave me some advice for enjoying such a movie once in the past, he said "check your brain out at the do

I went and saw Avatar a few months ago and felt so strongly about it that I wrote a review for the benifit of any friend who might want my opinion on it. I just realised that this thread was here and that I could share it with you guys, so here it is : I am not a movie reviewer and nor do I care to write them, but Avatar had such a profound effect on me that I've made an exception this time. I

Arugula.. I'm not much into classical music, but I gotta say that last link of Bach is a stunner. The synchronicity there is a beautifull thing.

Thats a cool place to be I reckon LaV. I'm just the same with the violin, I love the sound of it but often not the actual piece being played. I watched a movie one time called Bad Company, and right at the start it has a background theme as your zooming over a city. The violin part of it just chills me, it's so awesome ! I since obtained the track, but unfortunately only the first minuite and

I would like to think you are right Coco, although these things develop incrementally. It is always pitched in a way that allows for people to believe in its worthiness. I feel that there are alot of people around who are still dealing with a struggle and resistance mentality, and could subscribe to such ideas with the right premotion such as "to protect their health" etc. We have al

Hmm... well I grow and consume wheatgrass. That does look like mold, but in my experience there is no problem with the grass. I just drink it as usual. I have found that the difference between bitter/nauseus and sweet has to do with the age at harvest, not the mold. I believe that if you want to avoid mold then you need air flow. It is when the seed is wet and there is no air movement that the

That artical has already expired Omega, nice thought though. Kinda cool add Tam, although the spin is rather typical. IMO goodness is the natural state, and thoughts and actions of conflict are expressions of stress. I think that the magnetic force which drives life and movement is most closely represented in goodness.

Well LaV for you it could be viewed as a place to go to discuss specific concepts rather than "spirituality" . I do agree with your sentiment though, but for practical purposes one could accept a generalisation of spirituality to imply things pertaining to a non physical context.

Yeah our bodies are fairly cool eh. They constantly replace all the cells that they are made of. Doesn't it seem strange that aging occurs at all ? or that some things wont heal ! I reckon that we have the potential to regenerate fully, just not the understanding, lifestyle or current ability.

Hey Jodi I reckon this illustrates the arbitrary nature of values and prioreties quite well. A person can feel very upset about paying at extra $10 for something that was cheaper somewhere else, or perhaps loosing $100 at a beach, yet cheerfully purchase that $100 haircut, or buy a personalised number plate for $800. They can complain about having an old car, or having to wait in a queue for

I see it all as an extension of our general awareness and values. You can blame the marketers, but who are they other than more of society ? The adds will change when people become more discerning with their awareness of health. Marketing caters to the consumers as much as it influences them.

Hey eagle. I just went back and had another look at your table. I think I know what your problem is as my brother and I had a similar experience quite a while ago when he was learning the carpentry trade. He reckons that because you have a cap on the end of your lateral timbers ( presumably glued rather than floating ), the cap doesn't allow for the movement of expansion, so the pressure cra

This is all about individual perspective though. As long as we are discussing notions of wisdom, work, holiness and necessity etc, we are dealing with personal opinion. Who is the arbiter here ? It certainly isn't me, and as long as there are 6 billion other people out there with a different point of view, then I don't think anyone else can justifiably jump up to the plate either !
