What I was saying is that I don't believe that things happen to us by chance, I think it is more a case of being unconscious to the ways in which we are participating to make it so. I certainly don't accept this to mean that people get what they deserve, just that there is a higher order than chaos to its governance if we are strong enough to find it. Just my opinion.

Mmm... I didn't think much of The Secret, but I do feel that it expresses some of the underlying nature of reality. I think that the key to being blessed is having an attitude of always being so.

My impression of wheat grass is that a lot of people like it at first but the novelty wears off. I find it quite horrible but I drink it all the same. I've learned to hold my breath while drinking it and then follow it with a glass of water before letting my breath go, and this way I can consume it without realy tasting it .

Well it was an enjoyable night. There were about 30 people there and I got to meet a few new faces. The venue was quite cozy, nicer than I had expected. My happy story is that I've got a volleyball team who I'm realy inspired to be playing with. They are all good players and good friends. In the league which we play in, we are building a reputation for being a team who will give away points and even games for the sake of honesty and goodwill. Its effects on each game are contageous, I love it.

From the other posts that I've read of yours, it sounds to me like you are a fairly open minded and accepting person. I have found that often when someone comes accross another person who is open and accepting, the presence of calm can allow all of the mind chatter and insecurities to come pouring out.

Obviously when it is only related by name.
I think that most vegans would consider anything which effects or includes animals in some detrimental way to be non vegan. Which is a bit of a technicality realy, because most human activity these days is out of balance with nature and therefor indirectly negatively effects animals.

That is my whole point Curator, everyone plays the blame game. I don't expect anyone else to agree with this but IMO if we as individuals were in harmony with ourselves and each other then there would be little chance of a disaster like this happening. Pointing fingers and meting out justice does not bring resolution to a situation.

The concept of astrology makes sense to me due to many aspects of one reason. This reason is that I have come to understand that everything is connected, and this model inherently conveys a symbiotic relationship between all things.

I personally think a healthy immune system will kick the ass of any unwanted organism that makes its way into our bodies, so my thoughts would be just live healthy and don't worry about it. I know that garlic bolsters the immune system dramatically, maybe you could chow on some of that ?

Yah... it "should" be possible to discuss freely what ever we wish rationally without contention. But it seems that politics is a sore point for many people, and this pain would inevitably express itself when ever it was opened for discussion.
It was bad enough that I had to leave these boards in the period where it was prominent. I'm happy without it.

I just watched I've Loved You Too Long.
An awesome heart wrenching drama about a woman dealing with the re-immersion into society after a long prison sentence, and comming to term with a trauma that put her there. A real beautifull movie about typical social predudice and the power of caring people to overcome it all.

Ok.. if any of you are sci fi buffs then I highly recommend Moon. This was the best one I've seen in a long time, probably since The Forgotten. It had a real damn good story ( gasp ), the kind that you could still appreciate if it had B grade everything else, but it just shone in all regards.
