Just curious what is everyone's morning routine? I am trying to wake up early, perhaps workout in the morning.
I am having trouble getting moving in the am during the week.
My gym only has my favorite classes in the evenings... sigh. But, I noticed on the weekend when I can workout in the mornings, ( cardio), I feel so much better!
I could do a spin class or run on the treadmill, but

I can resonate with how wonderful these people are, we often forget that everyday people sacrifice their lives to be a good person.

I bet you are beautiful, Coco. And... really, it is more importantly how we feel. I just had to do a presentation on self awareness and how we place so much emphasis on "looking right" to fit into society. Media plays a huge role.
Interesting regarding the Polish comment. I am German and French, a tiny bit Irish. However, I am constantly being told I "look" Jewish.. or peo

thank you for the different perspectives. Totally made me look at things differently. I am what I am.
I need to not worry what others think about me. Someone told me I eat weird yesterday because all I eat is salad. Then, I usually get comments about the thinness.. as soon as I start losing weight which is happening.
"no wonder you are so skinny" all you do is eat salads like a

Thanks for the reply. well, for a while it was more pale and now it is olive. I was wearing a fondation that did not have a sunscreen... and I think that is what did it.
It still is pretty fair, but I want to keep it light and not sure what to wear for makeup or even how to make it more even?
I have been eating more carrots and beta carotene...
I was paler when I was not doing raw, is

hey everyone
I am wondering if anybody has some tips on how to whiten skin?? I am interested in doing more to get my skin back to its normal color ( pale). I would like to eat foods that do this, however, if anyone recommends any other options that are natural, I would love to hear this.
Thanks!

Just wondering if I should stick to HCL only? Would like to hear others and thoughts on probiotics.

17. Stuck
I am doing much better with raw and can say I am about 80/20 right now. However, I had a splurge yesterday with a raw vega bar.... and felt soo sick to my stomach. I also had dried fruit.
I think I do really well for about one month and then I get stuck and start looking for other options to keep me going.
My body doesnt like anything not in a natural state, that is for sure.
I am eve

So, I have been feeling kind of tired and was trying to figure what is going on. Well I discovered on the days that I cook my broccoli or veggies, I am really tired and foggy.
I guess it goes to show that I just feel cleaner, healthier and more focused when I stick to a more raw diet.
I also have been eating baked veggie chips... duh! I know that they are not raw.
Well, I can move on

Ok, I am not sure if should post this here, but I am interested in hearing others thoughts on how food is a spiritual journey.
Totally torn between practicing Buddhism and adhering to my faith in God. I love both. Maybe it is the idea of being labeled.
Also, has anyone heard of SGI buddhism?

That is funny. Someone just told me I had an eating disorder which made me angry.. I just want to be healthy. Sure, losing weight would be great, but why should I be judged because I dont stuff my face with processed junk.
I am also at a college and live near campus where there is frozen yog stores on every corner.. I have to walk by and sometimes it is hard, to be honest. Like, I feel "

I too have been wondering about this. I prefer not to wear sunscreen, but definitely do not want my face to look old
Seems like all sunblocks always make me feel like I can't breathe. Just my opinion.

28. HCL- Probiotic
A friend recommended that I try HCL to help my food digest. She thinks I have low stomach acid... not sure.
I ran out of probiotic and I am not sure if I should get some.
I still feel like I "should" be losing weight on this plan, but I am not. In fact, I think I gained a few lbs. Probably muscle since my clothes fit, but I do not feel comfortable. Does anyone have thougths?

I reread Kim Snyders book- the Beauty Detox and it was neat that I recognized how she mentioned the Hippocrates Center and G Cousens.. however, the first time I read it, I had no clue!
Just curious if anyone has read her material and if they have thoughts?
