Hey folks,
Thought I'd give an update, and renew the request for input.
I'm on day 16 of this plan, about a week and a half into green smoothies, and I have a week to go on the total cleanse supplements.
Everything's going well so far. In a week or so, I may do this fast plan:
Breakfast Lunch Dinner
Day 1 in Fruit Smoothie Juice
Day 2 in Juice Juice Juice
Day 3 in Water

Yes, I know what oil pulling is. But I find it odd that a post promoting a specific source of a product was posted in response to a thread having nothing to do with it.
I'm not saying that oil pulling per se is an issue- not at all.

Thanks for the replies. I'm not a fan of the Master Cleanse- I don't find it helpful unless one is a SAD eater. I'd rather fill up on fresh juicy enzymes and nutrition! The lemon and cayenne, sure- but I don't think maple syrup is that great for you.
I've done juice fasts before, and short water fasts, but I really think that those are better when you're already cleaned out. I want to push the

I'm Marcheline, and I've been between 80 and 99 percent raw for about four and a half years now.
Lately, I've been slipping up pretty badly, due to extreme stress. Of course, the slipping up has made the stress worse... you know how the cycle goes. So I am embarking on a self-designed cleansing/deep detox regime for a while, and I would really appreciate some input and support.
My program c

B vitamins!
Try juicing leafy greens, celery, cucumbers, beets, ginger, lemon...
Make raw soups- veggie juice base with some blended tomatoes, seaweed flakes
Sea veggies are full of minerals.
Lemon juice would help I think...

I lost "too much" in the beginning. I just kept eating what felt right (mostly juicy fruits) and gained about ten pounds. Now my weight has stabilized.

75%guy, I've scoured the thrift stores very throughly, tried Craig's list, Freecycle, no luck.

Does anyone have a dehydrator that they would like to give to a good home?
I'm teaching a group of people about the raw vegan lifestyle (these are people who are very, very much in the SAD frame of mind, its so exciting to see them interested in raw!)
Anyway, I need a dehydrator that they can use to make more transitional foods. I have never owned one, as I mostly mono-eat, but I really, re

I think that that is potassium, not calcium deficiency symptoms, no?

try watermelons ummmmm
Then green smoothies/soups when you feel ready

13. ferments
Hey all.
I'm having some financial troubles, and have been pondering added fermented veggies as a staple.
I've converted to a fruit-based diet with occational small amounts of leafy greens or other veggies... once in while.
I have trouble digesting anything else, but I've heard that fermented veggies makes them easier to digest. I can buy carrots, beets, cabbage and such very inexpensive

Bryan-
Do you have access to the old thread on greens?
It was a lengthy, long-lived thread concerning green juices and peoples' daily green intakes.
Thanks.

Is your friend vegan?
Animal feed is not organic unless you buy super-expensive organic animal products. Your friend would be better off pesticide-wise to become vegan (better yet, raw vegan) andeat only conventional produce, in my opinion. Dropping animal products will greatly reduce her pesticide intake.

nearly two years 99 percent raw- (once in a while some nutritional yeast, and I drink tea made from boiling water, fresh ginger, and stevia powder occationally)
Almost never eat fatty foods... I haven't had any overt fats in about two months.

Oh my dear Bananas,
You are cheap and yummy, and you have low pesticide residues.
You are nutritious, and appear to be the perfect food for me... the nearly fruitarian who is rather poor... to make a staple of.
WHY DO YOU NOT DIGEST WELL?!!!
Bananas make me feel heavy, bloated, and backed up until they are out of my system- this can take 48 hours!!!
I let them ripen until they are freckl

Thanks, Rawgosia.
Do you have any thoughts about sufficient fatty acids, fat-soluble vitamin absorption, etc?

In your opinion, are these helpful additions to someone's daily or weekly diet?
I primarily eat mono-fruit, with some easy to digest veggies, a bit of sea veg, some ginger, and kombucha tea.

In your opinion, is it healthier to eat like this:
- mono-fruit
- occational simple salads (greens, tomatoes, carrots and/or celery and/or beets and/or burdock root, nori and/or dulse and/or laver and/or wakame,
with or without simple dressings (cucumber, tomato, celery, oregano, radish, citrus juice- blended)
- green juices with some beet, apple, lemon, ginger, and stevia

I have trouble digesting heavy things like nuts, seeds, and bananas, so I'm nervous about avocadoes.

Thank you all for your responces.
In reply to rawgosia, I am in college, living in the dorms, and thusly have no access to a garden. As far as bananas go, they make me feel unwell, even when I eat the spotted ones. They plug me up and make me feel bloaty.

Anyone experience digestive issues with the combinations of orange juice with tahini, or other similar combinations that are used in 80-10-10 dressings?
These sound tasty, but I am concerned as to the combination.
I am not 80-10-10, I eat much less fat, only fresh veggies, fruits, and some seaweeds, kombucha, and nutritional yeast.
I would like to eat more fat because I enjoy the taste a

Thanks.
