i agree but sometimes my mind plays tricks on me. i guess for me, i need to listen to my body and not so much my mind. you're right about depending on others but it does feel good when you know you aren't the only going through certain things. especially when you are beginning such a journey as raw. that's just my opinion.

i love wine too. from what i've heard, a glass of wine is good for thinning out your blood. also chocolate has i think antioxidants in it which is also good for you. of course in moderation and raw and organic. i love chocolate to and refuse to give it up yet. (raw of course). same with wine. yummy.

razberry, i had the same exerience yesterday. i've only been 100% raw for a few days but yesterday was my b-day and i just got a little crazy with cooked food. my tummy was the same way. very mad and upset with what i had put into it. i also don't feel too hungry for cooked food. no cravings at all today. so far anyway. it's so weird for me to feel those things which i have felt before but never

taylor, that's awesome. you said you went 100% raw. did you do that from the very beginning or did you have to ease into it? you are quite an inspiration.

kauai is gorgeous. there aren't any words to describe the beauty. yes kauai is diverse. you'll see alot of hawaiian locals, hippies, haolis(white people) and quite a few celebrites have homes there. that would be a great place to grow anything almost. i've been on the big island too and it's also a great place. personally i just feel oahu has been somewhat ruined due to tourists. but there are pl

yes, i always feel that way. although i live in southern cali and the weather is usually nice, i still tend to want to workout outside than in a gym. i get bored real easy so being outside, i can do numerous things. i play indoor v-ball and now that it's really getting nice, i'd rather play beach v-ball. i love to ride my bike and do anything outside better than in a gym. hello jono. i lived in hawaii for 5 years. 3 on oahu and 2 on kauai. kauai was the best place on earth. i lived in hanalei (north shore). it was the best time of my life. if i could, i would move back there in a heart beat. i'd say go-for-it. idid go through a couple of hurricanes in hawaii but never any kind of volcanic eruption. of course the fruit and veggies there are tremendously fresh and w

i agree with those that say no matter the reason you want to go raw, as long as you do it. there are so many great things about it and if losing weight is the main reason, so be it. just keep trying and results will follow.

i agree with you gracielle. i firmly believe food has a huge effect on everything in our lives. i believe in the raw diet for every reason possible but for me, it's very hard to stick with it. when i start eating raw for a week or so, i end up bingeing on all those foods we can't have. what did you do to keep yourself raw? thanks, Laura T

hi angelissima, i'm like you in a lot of ways. i'm impatient and munch late at night. i'm also new to this. i've been trying to go 100% raw for a month now but only have been about 90% raw for a few days. it's rough but i keep in mind, if i want to munch, its better to munch an nuts and seeds than chips and cookies. i even have raw cookies and other desserts to get me through "that time of t

hi llulu, my husband thinks i'm a little crazy for this way of eating but like davidz said, when he sees you looking and feeling great, maybe he'll understand why you do this. i don't try to get my husband to eat like i do and he has eventually stopped making fun of how i eat. i've made ot clear to him that i'm going to eat this way and he needs to accept it. he never tells me to stop eating this
