I think mice and rats are great intelligent and very misunderstood creatures. I used to be biased against them although I certainly would never hurt one I changed when my son brought a mouse from school in a tin, at first I'm ashamed to say I let him keep it like that until my partner went and bought a superduper fancy cage with toys, the mouse was so happy and couldn't believe his luck, and wa

Anne Osborne has eaten all fruit for 17 years and had 2 children reared on fruit, and essie honiball for 50 years and is in her 80s now. She wrote a book in the 70s called I live on fruit, and had been fruitarian 20 years at that point. Also Bennito De Donno was fruitarian 15 years in 2001 when he last authored a book (not on fruitarianism although he does cover it). I guess these people aren't

I have had really bad allergic asthma in the past it originally went when I started raw food but the last couple of years it has gradually come back, I suspect due to environmental reasons. I keep inhalers just in case of a severe attack but I don't use them for mild asthma as they cause more problems longterm with side effects etc. Breathing excercises help,

Dark Circles are usually indicative of adrenal fatigue. As you have been only doing raw food for a short time, it could be a detox. If you are taking any stimulants such as cacao or maca these can cause problems for some people. I got dark circles when I ate small amounts of cacao regularly. You might also have a sensitivity to MSM, I don't do well with MSM. Just try changing some things

Suvine. I'm sure most rats and mice in the wild will just eat what they can find, hence why they are regarded as scavengers. I have also observed this in people in third world and war torn countries, when there is no food at all. Rats and mice are still naturally seed eaters though, and themicei n the field where i used to live as teenager used to eat the seed from the field and I've seen the

Fresh and wild whilst not raw per se does have fresh raw fruit and veg and does freshly pressed raw juices, wheatgrass shots and salads in their restaurant. List here of some raw food places Some of the markets such as spitalfields also do raw foods and juices.

If you expose mushrooms to the sun they absorb vitamin D and mushrooms such as shitake and cordyceps absorb a lot of it if exposed to the sun. If you need a supplement you can get a plant based vegan D 3 rather than resort to rancid mercury filled cod liver oil or synthetic D2

Pine nuts to my knowledge are raw, along with hazlenuts and walnuts, the ones that aren't are cashews unless specially opened, and brazil nuts, as apparently they even reach a high heat in the shells when they treat them before selling them commercially

I forgot to mention that herbs and good quality food source supplementation, can help people move from pharmaceuticals and diets that include mcdonalds and aspartame filled drinks and get a lot healthier, they may not be able to move just to fresh fruit and greens immediately as the detox could be severe and damaging in people who have taken a lot of pharmaceuticals, and some products can buffer

I think it is obvious that fresh foods are better than dehydrated supplemented food, that probably has little life force in it. But when you compare it to what the pharmaceuticals are doing and have done it pales into insignificance. Bearing in mind codex is already trying to remove products such as the chia seed in the UK saying it is illegal, herbs and other foods too. Many supplement compani

I wouldn't trust Dr Stanley Bass, he did experiments on mice giving them a fruitarian diet,to prove veganism didn't work. He seemed to miss the point that mice aren't fruitarians, they are seed eaters, that is why they have sharp pointed teeth at the front to crack open seeds to get the kernal and my mice lived very long and healthy 3 times normal life span on top quality vegan diet

I am sceptical of vitamin D supplements full stop and the masses amounts some supplement companies recommend ie 10 000 ius a day,yet even rickets is cured on a small amount of vit d so why would people who do nt hve rickets need large amounts of vitamin D, that makes me suspicious. If people are deficient it is almost certainly life style, ie working inside and not getting enough sun in summer.

For those who wish to take a food source vegan D3, you don't have to take synthetic vitamin D2 or cod liver oil

I don't think that bit is fully accurate, that goji's don't grow at high altitudes. Other berries grow at high altitudes. The other thing that I heard was that gojis can grow in the himalayas but wolfberries which are very similar to goji berries often get sold as goji berries don't and the two get confused.

I had a very bad experience with seroxat/paxil I do not adivse them and try get to the roots of your depression another way. They actually made me worse in the long term and I could not get off them, the witthdrawal was so bad. I ended up taking an overdose as they made me ocd manically extroverted, when I'm an introvert and suicidal and went into a coma. I believe they do lasting damage t

I understand that older varieties of grain such as Kamut and spelt are better than wheat as are not hybridised. Wheat is just such an unnatural food. But they still have gluten/glue in them and I would think that could cause a problem for some people.

arugula I'm just posting the research found on Magnesium stearate, for information purposes, although the studies are done with larger quantities than in one tablet obviously. It destroys t cells. Even in tiny amounts it is harmful because the body does not recognise it or metabolise it so it just builds up and taking supplement with MS in over a period of time means the poison builds up.

Also it has got the exipient magnesium stearate which destroys t cells (primary immune function. I won't touch any supplement that has magnesium stearate in, so that is about 99.9% of supplements in the UK

I've always heard that hydroxcobalamin is more effective B12 supplement not methylcobalamin because most b 12 deficiencies are to do with lack of intrisic factor and hydroxocobalamin can be absorbed by those people with lack of intrinsic factor. Methylcobalamin and cyanocobalamin cannot. Some additional info on B 12 here

I love the documentary on christian the lion. I've got the full documentary from Born Free. That lion and his love for those men who resuced him from a cage in Harrods is beautiful What I do find sad though is that they saw him once more a year later and he had cubs of his own at this point but a little while later he disappeared never to be seen again. Iknow they feel it was successful

I love a lot of the stuff DW talks about, his interest in around and ormus I find really interesting. He reminds me of einstein when he talks about this, he seems so passionate I think unfortunately the stuff around cacao and superfoods, cacao in particular make people think all the stuff he talks about is rubbish. Maybe he needs the money from these product to further his research in hi

Liberation Who are you doing your wild foraging with. This lady is amazing, as she grew up learning this stuff, and does wild foraging sessions, she only charges £15.00 a day and is extremely knowledgeable. She also is an artist who paints with everything she finds from the earth. I went on a one a few years ago, but I can't remember the names of all the plants, althoug I remember what

Hi Cicoa nibs, the book is great but it is not specific for osteoporosis. I found it interesting for other reasons on my journey on raw food. There doesn't seem to much info on reversing osteoporosis on raw food, although I would read some of the other books on that such as this, and taylor the info although it is 1994 and out of date. It seems to be quite common knowledge now that calciu

Here is an interesting article providing info on B 12 in raw food diets. From what I've read many long term raw vegans 20 years or more including Jameth Sheridan on a recent interview, have been tested as normal for B 12 and a few I know of that had low b 12 levels raised it on raw vegan diets. The tests are a bit suspect as well as they do not measure accurately. The blood test is l

I have heard the foods high in silicon are very good for bones and teeth. Green foods are high in this mineral, as well as magnesium which is very important. Nettles are very high, and horsetail A book called biological transmutations also described how silicon transmutes into a useable form of calcium in the body. Traditional foods high in calcium make the problem worse. I would get
