I agree with much of what you say Tamuka, but I still do not believe shazzie is a pioneer as a raw foodist, but documenting as a blog, perhaps so. I do not feel it right for to recommend such large quanitities of vitamin d for children, and perhaps vitamin d is right for her, and perhaps if that is what she was saying I would not have a problem but she cateorically states that all children shoul

One of the most interesting books i read was glimpses of reality by 17 year fruitarian Bennito De Donno. The book isn't about fruitarianism but about the mysteries of the Universe and dismantles everything we currently believe as truth from the Big Bang to nutrition, and the true meaning of life and purpose, which is nothing like any of the mass marketed spiritual books on the same subject

I like Shazzie, but to call her a pioneer is hilarious. I started raw food in 1985 and been through what she is going through now when you have children, the worry that you are doing the right thing. But shazzie has not even brought up children yet and yet feels she is an expert on the subject. When she has brought her child up, then perhaps that would be the time to write a book on bringin

Liberation, absolutely brilliant post. I've wondered about that myself too some people that seem obsessed with there own health and proclaim they need animal products to sustain it, are missing the point imo that contributing toward harm and suffering to animals cannot bring health. Some people still think animals are insignificant, and are just here to be used by humans, I am passionate ab

I agree the chimps eating meat is part of it but it is just I've read it all hundreds of times before, I still feel loss of habitat and deforestation therefore loss of food is an ignored part of why primates eat meat. The book is interesting nevertheless, I don't agree or resonate with all of it one reason is that it does not mention the corpus callosum the piece of nerve fibre that acts as a

Interesting replies. Thankyou. I don't know much about nutritional anthropology sounds interesting, I agree it is an area that should be discussed I just didn't want it to get into the chimps eating meat area too much, as I feel there are all sorts of reasons but maybe I misinterpreted that. Tony Wright and Graham Glynn have also written a book called left in the dark, essentially the autho

The above article was simply an interesting observation on the differences between fruit eating monkeys and leaf eating monkey, not meat eating/hunting chimps. When I've watched the documentaries where chimps have hunted monkeys, it is often when monkeys stray into chimps territory looking for food. With the bonoboes they have also suffered habitat destruction and deforestation as other pri

I think Doug Graham looks healthier than most people aged 58, it is not exactly fair to compare him with someone in their 30s. He is incredibly fit which shows the amount of energy he has on the diet he recommends.

Kwan, I was really interested in that you named citizens for health as a controlled conspiracy group, I became aware of that recently too. I did not know anything about Rima laibow or Alex Jones. Do you have any more info? I also agree with lighform who says why worry when we are just "cogs" in the grand scheme but I keep finding out odd info by accident usually. The communicatio

I used crystal manna and blue manna a couple of years ago, and it felt really nice at first, but then it started making me feel a bit sick, and also my mouth and tongue felt sore when I took it, so I stopped doing it. I only use very occasionally now.

Life 101, yes I have often wondered about the parasite thing and am aware of Hulda Clark. I think I was put off zappers though when I realised they don't always kill tape worm but just cut in half and it can spread. Ihaven't got tape worm but was interested in how effective they are. Some one I knew had a child with severe illnesses and heavy metal poisoning and he had a tape worm, they even

Sorry about the loss of your Gerbil, still at least he had a long healthy life. I once had a mouse that lived to be 2 and half which most die around ayear, usually before of either breathing difficulties due to sawdust litter or tumours. She was healthy and active and very playful and friendly and got caught by a cat that managed to get in my house. I was devastated, although most people thou

Seaweeds and kelp are high in iodine, which I have used a lot of in the past, they are high in iodine and I know lack of iodine can cause thyroid problems. My thyroid was normal on tests, although in the UK, we have a different bench mark of what is normal than in the US and rest of Europe so it is possible even if you were found to have thyroid probs in the US or europe unless they were very s

brian1cs Thanks, I wondered it if it could be the cobalt in the greens given many of them are wild, but then what do I know!! I thought algaes could give false B 12 readings due to analogues, so much contradictory information. I did resonate with this rick dina's info though so maybe chlorella does raise B 12.

I love this interview, it was my favourite. I thought it was interesting that he said vitamineral green raised B 12 levels I thought he said he wasn't sure what ingredient it was, but someone else told me it was chlorella, but I didn't hear him say chlorella Does anyone recall if he mentioned chlorella. Fascinating stuff

Hi Fresh I'm not sure my diet is perfected exactly, although I've been doing raw foods since 1985 and read viktoras kulvinskas books, and Herbert shelton and arnold ehret etc. I've tried all different approaches from strict fruitarian (my teeth dissolved but did remineralise) in early eighties, then sproutarian greens etc and then superfoodist. I've not got any other physical problems ot

I've had and still suffer at times chronic fatigue. I have found a lower fat diet to help considerably but in my case not handling stress well is a big part to play. Diet does not resolve the full problem for some people Stress constantly releases adrenaline, corisol and other hormones and can exhaust the adrenals. There is something called the lightning process which seems to be prett

I recently moved to low fat high fruit from high fat low fruit rv, and all my health challenges I was experiencing fatigue etc have all cleared up. It has taken around 4 months and I think my health will improve further still as I'm still not down to 10% fat. I am just so grateful to have discovered 811 because I tried every supplement going and all the superfoods and flax oil and vegan epa/dha
