coconut
cacao
maybe some nuts, though i've quit on those
any combination or single food item above really cuts all cravings for me.
avocadoes and tomatoes together take away my need for salty gooey crap.
bronwyn always has yummy ones, and bananas, esp frozen, or with a sweet/nutty combo seems to work wonders.

i just got rid of my extra champion... i couldn't let it go until a month ago. i have had an omega for two years, but still felt a very strong bond to my champion. since you're pregnant, i would probably just get an omega (rather than do 100 dollars of repairs) since the omegas do greens so much better than champions.
really, a lot better. and they're quite affordable.

well said David....
as always
very well said.
i'm laughing b/c we went shopping today, and for the first time, my husband had NO desire to buy his 'junk' food
meaning no meat, potato chips, jarred salsa, or peanut butter.
we bought
1 lg watermelon
1 pineapple
12 lbs apples
3 bunches bananas
1 honeydew (which smelled heavenly)
1 bunch kale
1 bunch red swiss chard (both for juicing

i find as long as i share and interact w/ my husband on the raw diet, he's come to eat more and more like me. i make something delicious, he likes it, then he requests it, and we find ourselves making the same foods for each other.
but i also try to not make a huge deal out of NOT eating his foods when there is meat or other stuff involved. he only eats it once a week, and he is always pushi

hm,
i have a desert that won't melt-
and a blender is all you need.
1 cup dates
1 cup walnuts
raw cacao to taste (i use 2-3 tablespoons, but i love chocolate)
blend walnuts until chunky, put half aside, add dates and chocolate and grind until smooth and mushy- like brownies. then mix in walnut chunks by hand, press into a brownie dish or cake pan, and cut and serve. everyone loves

i found that mostly fruits
with dates
spinach
olive and coconut oils
and then more fruits
and the occasional dehydrated bread/cracker
or nut butter
really kept me going well.
i do confess to occasional (once a week) cooked potatoes, and a few non-vegan items.
but my milk production did great on the fruit.

i buy them, and if they're not good, i tell the produce dept that the coconut was bad, and they give me another.
i get heavy ones with a slight slosh.
i think they're fun.
and i eat fat.
so no dilemma there.

stomach flu? hm, i get it every so often, but only when i'm in a house with people who have it.
but i don't get it like they do.
part of it is that when my body doesn't feel good, i automatically fast.
water or green juices, or clean fruit juice.
so i never get the vomiting and fever and stuff, i just get tired, stop eating, and three days later, or whenever i'm hungry again, i eat.

my uncle is a dentist (a normal, run of the mill, quality dentist), and he recently went (in the last year or so) to some dental conference that told him tha Fosamax is horrible for the bones and teeth. it eats them from the inside out. he tells all his patients to get off it or stay off it because it is so dangerous. i believe it increases the porousness of bones an

yes,
you never 'need' a juicer.
buy greens
eat them
if you want fruit
buy some
eat it
sprouts?
grow em
then eat them
you don't need a juicer, a dehydrator, or even a blender.
though the latter is pretty popular.
just start eating all your foods raw
and you've done it.

glad it worked, Sparkler, i love the soft-serve texture.

Oh, how horrible!
i'm so sorry you're struggling through this. i used to do this with nuts (pistachios and almonds) so i quit on nuts. and then i did the same thing with fruits. i had to expand my diet and eat frozen banana ice cream with raw cacao powder. i could eat, like, four bananas this way, and it was sweet and chocolately, and four bananas is a lot, but it isn't uncomfortable, and

breastmilk can't cause this. my guy nursed to sleep for all his bedtimes for a very long time. he still drinks breastmilk before bed. in cultures where babies cosleep, they stay on the nipple all night. (the chief reason co-sleeping didn't appeal to me!) and these cultures still have teeth.
this is very strange. all the mom's i've heard of who get this surgery have done the general anest
