For me, Noni too. Beside Noni, it's all good when ripe. But Noni really stinks and unlike durian that stinks too, Noni have a really disgusting taste, awful!

Usually, since I work until dark, I eat afterwards, but light (mostly veggies, little fat or fruit). And I feel great the next morning, and I usually go mountain biking, running, swimming or working in the garden until 1pm or more the next day. I don't feel like eating in the morning, I feel like it cuts my energy. And since I'm physically active all day, I don't have any problems sleeping at ni

Not sure on the penis size like David Wolfe, but definitely I saw an improvement on reproduction ability to be politically correct. But basically, before going raw, we seemed to have problems getting pregnant with my wife, and now, she is pregnant, and I can tell you it was very easy. Now it's more like we have to be careful not to get pregnant... When I see lots of my friends we have to go thro

Worms in fruits and intestinal worms are not the same. Fruit worms can't live in our digestive system. You shouldn't be so worried about a few worms in a fruit, that's the way nature make them. You should be more worried about a perfect shinny worm less apple, meaning an apple that has been sprayed with a poison 15 times during the year, and waxed with a petroleum based wax. On the other end, th

Figs and apricots are dried usually in ovens, and even if they are dried in the sun, they taste like fermented to me. Whereas dates come somehow dried in a natural state. So I'd rather go for dates than for figs or apricots...

I think it's more important to leave some time between the last meal and the first of the next day than to focus on an arbitrary time after which you should not eat. Personally, I don't have much time to eat during the day, and I prefer to feel light since I'm active all day long. So usually, I don't and can't really eat until noon or 2pm. So in the evening, when the dark comes and that I can't

I think the easiest and long lasting thing to keep is simply dates. In case of emergency, you don't need energy to get you out. And dates are perfect, and they keep well. I remember the story of a town in northern africa that was under siege for one month, and they sustained the siege only with water and dates, for one month. The opponents ended up leaving because they thought they had a special

Maybe a way to "cure" those people from their mental disorder would be for them to get to the farm and get connected to the earth and how to grow their food instead of buying it and always being worried about where it comes from, when it was picked and so on.

Your hands have skin to protect them, cells have a thin porous membrane to ensure exchanges between the fluids and the inner cell. If you want to drink distilled water, up to you. But personally, I wouldn't.

After the wars for oil, be ready for the wars for water... Actually, it already started. Also, don't drink distilled water. It's not natural at all, and will pull out of your body minerals to compensate for the lack of them in the distilled water.

If you think you don't get pesticide or chemical residues by removing the skin of the fruit, then, you'll get them in your water. All conventional farming chemical residues end up in the water, and pollute the water. So if you think you don't eat them, you'll drink them. Don't contribute to that, buy organic.

Sure, there is some need to readjust your digestive track to what you eat, just like if you start eating meat or beans and you never eat any: you'll feel bad in your stomach for some time, until the acidity and enzymes readjust. But for sure, that doesn't mean that raw foods are not for everybody, that just mean those people are not eating enough raw foods on a daily basis to be able to eat only

It may sound like not true, but try this if you have some bitter cucumbers: -cut the top part of the cucumber below the stem -rub the cut parts together in circular motion for some time, you'll see a white foam forming on the edges -finally cut the top part of the cucumber, just below the first cut, to get ride of the white foam. And enjoy a non bitter cucumber that you don't have to peel any

It depends on the type of food (fruit, soft, juicy, fatty...) but also on the quantity. It won't take the same amount of time for 1lb watermelon or 3. Don't watch the clock, listen to your body

Mangoes are dipped in hot water to kill any fruit fly larvae that could be on them. You can also think that when you buy conventional produce, you contribute to the global pollution of the planet, global warming (since all chemical fertilizers and pesticides are derived from petroleum), and to the poor health of the farm workers (who have no other choice than to ingest all the nasty chemicals yo

If it's cut up, I put a cellophane wrap and in the fridge. Otherwise, some of the really ripe watermelon tend to crack when you start cutting them with your knife. In that case, you can try to just cut the rind as if cutting the watermelon in half, but without cutting the flesh, and then finish cracking it open by hands. This way, the flesh is not cut up, and there is less open cells leaking wate

If you are trying to find an answer to why some of the seeds of your fruits didn't sprout this year (like the mangoes you mentioned in another thread), here is what I think. First, any seed should sprout with just water, even with little care. The seed carries all the nutrients for the plant to develop its first roots and leaves. Then to grow to a full tree, it will require more than just water,

So far, there are no GMO watermelon or cherries. If you get bland tasteless stuff, 2 reasons: 1- they come from far away, like Mexico in the US or Chile for cherries in winter. To transport them, they pick them green. If you go in Baja California, you can see trucks of green tomatoes being picked for the US. They are completely green, but by the time they reach the US, they get red. Red but no t

I grow mine, and this week, I started harvesting watermelons, and melons for a short time now. Melons are sweet, and plentiful. And the watermelons so far have been really good. SO far, I picked one that was a pollinating cross between a white flesh african and a Ali Baba (a desert variety from Irak). It was really good. And yesterday I picked a nice 15 pounds Ali Baba! Happy farmer!! If you

Urban farmers are developing, and that's great, especially because land is so expensive that it allows farmers with no land to get access to some land to farm, with a direct contact with the customers.
