I think each person needs to establish a daily calorie count that works for them. Sometimes that target is to high or to low and the results speak for themselves. If 500 or 5,000 is the right target for you then you will feel and look good consistent with good health. IMO the BMI (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Body_mass_index) is a reasonable place to start searching for your own daily calorie tar

Try eating a small amount of Kale leaves along with a chunk of celery in the same mouthful and see if you like it that way. If you still don't like the taste try combining Kale & apple in the same bite. Good luck.

Please help me to understand the difference so that I can better eat for the health of i

The times when I've been successful eating an all raw diet I've eaten plenty of fresh fruit meals early in the day followed by vegetable juice meals including green juices followed by a salad for dinner. I think the reason that this has satisfied me is that the fruits are a good source of vitamins & fiber while the veggies are a good source of minerals. I have had two 10 month long stretches

My favorite green smoothie is made by putting enough water into the blender to cover the blades and then putting a handful of greens in there and starting the blender. Then with the blender running I put some frozen fruit in like blueberries or strawberries or mango or peaches. I then add two fresh peeled bananas and let the blender run for a short time. Delicious.

I think there are benefits in both shorter fasts and longer fasts. One thing I find helpful is that after about 3 days or so of water fasting my desire for food abates making it much easier to fast for an extended period of time.

QuoteCan you define an "unorganized" mineral as compared to an "organized" mineral An organized mineral is a mineral that has been brought into a plant and has been organized by the plant so that it is one with the plant. An unorganized mineral is one that has not been bonded so that it is part of the plants structure.

QuoteI am glad that I don't have the responsibility of bring up children on a raw vegan diet because it is so difficult to work out who's right After researching a topic I think about it and then I make a decision and go with it and only change direction if I find a reason to rethink it.
