I would be disappointed if a self-designated vegan company were selling animal products, but the raw and living-food umbrella encompasses a much broader group of non-vegans as well as raw vegans. So, no, I don't share in this particular view. Egg yolk and fish are consumed raw by people who are 100% raw and, well they are raw. I don't consider these things to be a problem.

No, not on raw. I like being able to save a bit by buying a bit extra when things go on sale. I think the half fridge like they have in many parts of Europe is very doable for people on many diets though. I often see people at the grocery store buying carts full of non-perishibles.

Heh, the strength being in the middle finger isn't in all versions of the tale either, but this one seemed to have some parallels with what you described. I'm not sure what it means though. Do you often have dreams that correspond to myth and legend? As far as the Google search, I think I just put in "giant right hand" and found some vague references to Finn. So, I then tried Finn

I was curious, so I did a Google search. There does seem to be an Irish story about a Giant who lost his right hand (in some accounts0. Have you heard of the legend of Finn Maccool?

My vote is for brazil nuts for the selenium and pumpkin seeds for the iron and zinc. These minerals are hard to get in quantity from fruit and veg. Brazil nuts are also usually wild harvest, so I feel as if I get more nutrients that way and promoting rain forest conservation, but that may be wishful thinking.

This is, of course, Dr. Ann Wigmore's creation. You can see her explain how she used to do it here: Fermented Wheat (Rejuvelac) - 1 cup wheat berries (soft/summer are preferred, but red/winter work fine too) - 2-3 cups water Rinse wheat berries under water. Place drained wheat berries in a 1 quart (or larger jar). Add 2 to 3 cups of water. Place a wire mesh or cheese cloth over

Organic doesn't mean chemical-free. It means that whatever chemicals are used (if used) should be from 'organic' sources. Quote "Organically grown" food is food grown and processed using no synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. Pesticides derived from natural sources (e.g., biological pesticides) may also be used in producing organically grown food. Increasingly, some consumers are

To be fair, she gave all the diets she rated a 0. The other 'expert' gave raw food a 5, but who knows on what scale, 1-5?, 1-100? Many people who have adopted diets rather than lifestyles don't date while dieting. Dinner at restaurants seems to be such a dating standard. I don't think it much matters. The desire to look like Demi Moore or someone else people have heard that use the raw food

Writing can make a difference. The last time I wrote my Senator, I got a phone call back from his office. I think ink and paper is still more effective than email.

The food they have listed is way more than 30,000 calories. Just the turkey is more than 30,000 calories. Anyway, since a quest for celebrity seems to be fueling this woman, it would be better to ignore her. I'm sorry she's so sick she feels the need to do this to her and those around her.

Ick. I had those as a kid. Mom just used the awful, chemical concoction RID. It was effective, but probably explains what's wrong with me today. :/ Good luck getting rid of those things. On the bright side,it wasn't bed bugs.

I thought the amount of usage might affect it, but wouldn't a good program design have accounted for some likely errors? I mean word processors have been using autocorrect for decades and while it's not perfect, I've never had any turn any documents into a string of anal jokes. For kicks I put in some of the words into Google to check internet usage. Advil had about 2.5 million hits, anal ha

Yes, I thought the snark on Jobs was funny. I don't use this technology, but it's hard for me to imagine that some of this isn't intentional. The slant toward the profane is really odd in a correction tool.

I'm not completely raw, but even being high raw, my acne has improved, but not completely disappeared. I have found that eating foods high in zinc like pumpkin seeds helps me. There is a site built around raw foods and acne if you're interested in more discussion, .

Cassava/yucca contains cyanide, it's not recommended raw. Fermenting and cooking remove the toxin. Sweet potatoes can be eaten raw, but some don't like them it because they are supposed to have some antinutrients. True yams are poisonous. (Jewel and garnet yams are really sweet potatoes). I don't know if malanga can be eaten raw, but malanga is often confused with taro, which should should
