In my opinion greens and wheatgrass are grown on medium (soil or other base) to have something for the roots to hold onto. We harvest those foods within 2 weeks, a germination that is getting their nutrients from the seed, not the soil. Therefore I do not think this is necessary for growing greens. Though, the product seems like an excellent product and if I was going to grow, let's say, ka

I was working on someone in the hospital, on their feet. I get to do a lot of work in hospitals by doing reflexology or feeling through the connect tissue in one's feet to where there may be restriction in the body and help to release it. Anyway, I was working on someone who was in a coma (the cause was not known). I was having a non-verbal communication with the individual (who I knew) and

Small scale independent projects including wind do not have to be noisy or unsightly. The axial windmill is quiet but is not being commercially produced, as far as I know of yet.

First off, I guess your new home is connected to the grid. So, the programs involve putting up solar panels on your south facing roof or on a tracker (a moveable frame that the panels are mounted on on the ground.) You must have a smart meter (I think 2, one for power you generate, one for power you use. Some companies have fancy meters that do both in one.) These meters do emit I believe elec

So, I am in favor of consuming algae including chorella, but I am concerned about where it is harvested (Japan). Does anyone know if the lakes that grow the algae are not being radiated by the Fukoshima accident? Thanks all.

Solar - it easy and available Many use it here in Vermont (many incentives given) and sell the excess back to the grid. Solar is not an issue, it is the batteries on an independent system that is the week link. I believe that all micro energy generation processes could power our needs (not our wants in this overindulgent country) - microsolar, microwind, microhydro, and more. Why give our p

In addition to being used for beer, deactivated brewer's yeast is also used as a nutritional and flavor supplement, and is often found labeled as “nutritional yeast” in grocery stores. It is important to make sure that you purchase an inactive form of yeast for a nutritional supplement, because active yeast will flourish in your intestines, potentially causing health problems.

Bruno Chickly technique - Lymphatic Drainage Therapies I learned it in workshops. I have found it helpful in cases of auto-immune disorders in the brain (MS, parakinson's, etc.) One can use their tongue themselves on the roof of their mouth, but it is easier to use a clean or cotted finger.

One can pump the glymphatic system by pushing on the roof of the mouth lightly repetitively. This help move the fluids also.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, busy time of the year. Yes, one is fully clothed during a craniosacral session, and yes it does relax due to alpha brain wave activity. I often find practitioners in other locations by visiting: I usually look for someone who has taken many workshops and has some experience.

Hey Jodi, While you were working, any asbestos would have been sealed away. Since the fire, it is likely on anything dusty. Asbestos has fibers that are small enough to be inhaled (use a mask) and large enough to not be able to be eliminated once in the body. I knew someone on raw foods who lived next to a asbestos factory. They did not have health issues due to the fact they were on live

BW, I practice CranioSacral Therapy and mostly use it for pain relief. John Harvey Kellogg (the black sheep of the Kellogg family) said that touch (no movement) is the most effect, least utilized technique for pain relief. It does help. The most amazing treatment I had using CST was with a woman who had severe scoliosis. After 4 sessions her spine was aligned! CST use the bones as levers to

What I would do this fall is to cover the area with newspaper or boxboard and then cover with compost and leaves or straw. Then in the spring I would turn it all in unless I was going to do a no-till garden. In spring after planting and the soil has warmed I would mulch well with straw to keep the weeds down.

I built a tiny house in an area with extreme weather, "wreckhouse winds" in Canada on the coast. It is holding up fine after 5 years. The neighbors usually come to check it out after a sou-easter and it is still where I built it. Also dome-shaped tiny houses can withstand all kinds of natural 'disasters'.

Here in Vermont it is. Rain, heat, everything growing very lush, no enough time to weed and keep the lawn under control. At this point I am just letting it go, the snow should come at some point and I will deal with it again next year. (Hope it cooler, I prefer that.)

There are so many choices for greens, including 'weeds'. I would not likely eat the weeds in the city if they are near pollution sources (car exhaust), but in parks that do not use chemicals I may eat. A little of wild has lots of nutrition, so one does not need to consume alot of them, but only do this is you are familiar with wild plants! Herbs are also very high in nutrition and therefore

I want to get back to the topic title. I have done that too, go back to SAD for a period of time. It usually takes place after I think I can have just one meal, and then I am addicted again. So I muster up my will power, just say no to .... in the moment a moment at a time, and after 3 weeks of going clean again, I am good to go for the duration. What serves me best is high raw, that is where
