I had mine replaced. My holistic dentist used a vacuum machine while he was grinding so the particles got sucked up and away. Glad I had them replaced. Always had a problem with the silver/mercury ones since I got them. Much better now.

I've always said that the sun does not cause skin cancer; it the the sun reacting to toxins on the skin that causes skin cancer. I work outside as a farmer, and as was already stated, I use long sleeved white shirts and light colored long pants and wide brim hats.

No. I read a book about a woman who got transplanted organs and took on the personality of the deceased donor. I do not want someone to have to deal with my cellular nature, nor do I want a donated organ.

It is amazing to me how compost does not smell at all if covered in dry material. You might even be able to have a 3x3x3 (the smallest workable size) on a deck, porch, or patio. Just a thought.

I breastfed my son until he was ready to stop, age 3, but was prepared to go until his deciduous teeth came in (adult teeth). We are very close and he is graduating from University this week at 22. He is an independent young man and honors student. Also I agree to put this boys face on the cover is not ok.

WY, I wouldn't use it. It pollutes the ground water further and places more stress on the septic system. Composting is the only way to go in my opinion.

banana who- carrots are biennial too so you can thin them and eat the root until it sends up its seeds stalk. Try radishes again now. Most radishes are spring radishes, the only fall radish I know of is the Daikon. When I garden I think about if I were that plant, where and how would I like to be planted (the seed) how much space, where would I be most happy and when. I have been growing

Vinegar has a low pH (acidic) which some plants do not like. Personally I like to throw all grey water (sinks) onto my compost pile. This works real good.

Hi OK 1. I plant my small carrot seeds with radish seeds. The radish comes up first. When harvesting them, it aerates the soil allowing nutrients to be available for the carrots and allows for space for the carrots to grow. 2. Did you plant your carrots in the fall, they need enough light for them to get big, start them earlier. I always start carrots in the spring and sometimes overwinter

When making compost tea it is better to aerate it like with a small pump because if the compost just sits in the water for too long it will go anaerobic (not good).

Yes, congrats! Water saving methods: I've used a stainless steel industrial pressure sprayer (like for pesticides) for instance, heated up on a rocket stove and can do a whole shower including washing my hair or dishes on one gallon. Humanure composting toilets! Arid climate fruit trees and plants. Drip irrigation. Just some thoughts.

Just have to write today. I am quite upset. Coco says she read labels. Most of us probably do. Here in Vermont we are trying to pass a GMO labeling bill for plant based products. Monsanto threatening to sue. And the head of the ag committee and the governor here are caving in!

When I need a chiropractor or massage therapist, I see one. I don't usually go for more than 4 consecutive sessions. There are all kinds of practitioners. I find ones that serve me appropriately and only go for as long as I feel is necessary, sometimes going once a week for two weeks, then once every two weeks, then a month later. I have lastly seen a 'Health Source' chiropractic practitioner. Ve

First of all waste is excreted from the body, not secreted. Second, invasive: a colonic (a process whereby a clinitian runs a pressurized water machine to clean the colon) is more invasive than a high enema, but they are both invasive to the body. I believe the colon should be cleaned, but I find I only do it when I am having trouble with that part, the large intestine, which I sometimes d

banana who, Figs love heat and it is easy! to grow figs in Florida. If you know someone who has a fig, take a 6 inch hardwood cutting now and plant it in the ground up to 2-3 buds exposed. That should do it with good compost and watering. Allow 10 feet of space for the full sized tree. I am sure people are growing figs in Florida.

So I went to a wonderful workshop on growing figs (a semi-tropical plant) in the north. I am now in zone 4A, which is a bit too cold for fig plants without any winter protection. They also need about 10 square feet of space around them. In the winter they are pruned way back. Branches are bent down and covered, whole plants are circled in insulating material and wrapped, or figs can be grown in '
