I think it may be posible to do all u want on raw and have all the endurance along with it, but not on normal raw, it'd have to be super dense nutrient food grown on the right mineral balenced soil. and such exists only in isolated cases. when it can be found it tastes so great u'd not want anything else. the kind of food this talks about Now for my experience, I'm 40, don't conside

I'd make a guess at 0% reduction. soaking just adds water. the only posibility of a reduction is if an oily nut is crushed and some fat goes into the water, but then there'd be an oily film on the water. That's a primitive way of extracting oil from nuts, grind them up and cover with water, then skim the oil that rises.

so why did ole doc walker live to about 132? and died from a riding accedent, my mother knew a close friend of his last wife and they determined his approximate age from things he'd said, (because when he was old he wouldn't tell his age cuz nobody'd believe him, and he was born before birth records were kept.) and our neighbor's son lived near him when he died. he must have been fit enough to

momma tells me when i was little i wouldn't eat a cucumber if it was sliced on a plate, but a whole one in the garden was a different matter. I've heard of kids growing up with a garden and eating direct from it, get to really love it, and then despising commercial food.

we do it by taking indvidual things, diatomitious earth a little mixed in water every day, fresh wormwood herb eat a little every day, ground cloves in captuals a few daily. a little dose of walnut hull extract. all kept up for a couple weeks. right now we're just doing the diatoms, seems to help. granny used raw pumpkin seed, ate by the bowlful.

sounds like a fairly good program, i know healing of the body happens much better with sleep before midnight. The fasts and cleanses can be very benificial for someone with a severe or active problem, mandatory for someone with cancer, especially in later stages to turn it around. But for where there's not a drastic problem just lifestyle changes will work very well usually.

Well, there's bad habits that have to be delt with at times, but i think yer problem may be eating too much volumne but not getting enough nutrient, the food that's availible in stores is only a fraction of the nutrient density that it should be. The finding that cows eat less grass when it's high brix grass is interesting.

it's good for cleaning out impaction caused by a very low fiber diet. not good for regular use, will cause peristaltic action to get lazy. So i'd say it's only good for someone sick with bad constipation. I'f they're not too bad off just a diet change will solve their problems.

I live why out in the TN woods in what I'd call north central south east, 20 years ago we bought 80 ac for less than $20K, mountain side with 3 springs on it. but sence then land price has gone funny. I think it's about as good an area as can be had anywhere, probably about the same climate as S Misouri. I like it here, only seem to get a little hint of the heat of the south and the cold of t

my opinion is that thoeretically, or if all soils were perfect, 100% raw is the perfect diet for everyone, but our world is anything but perfect. I believe that going all raw isn't going to cause perfect health if the food consumed is grown in the way most growers grow it. and the organic/conventional methods are only a tiny part of the issue, a very large share of organic growers arn't

recommendations of an herbal/natural healing doctor who ran a sanatarium for many years. Al Wolfsen studied such things deeper than anyone I've ever met or heard about. he said colonics/enemia should only be used for short term to help remove junk, daily use over time will cause peristaltic action to get lazy. His preferred flush was using sea water at 1-3 dilution with warmed water, (salt la

wish i could do something about it, but I'm slow. yesterday and today i planted watermelons and tomatoes, tomorrow i plant peppers, somewhere around a couple hundred plants. along with fooling with the water system to get it running. then plan to try setting up some carrot beds. on land i just got cleared. I don't do strict organic, but i hate toxic chemicals and wish they didn't exi

yes, we've harvested it from the trees, dried it and ground it in the mill. used it all up and havn't gotten around to getting more for awile. we ran across a story of a boy that got his hip shot away in indian war times, his mother prayed for wisdom/help, she had a dream in which she was told to wash the wound with ash water from a certian wood, (antiseptic I'm sure) then pack it with

yes, go raw slow, and a lot of the healthy food is cheaper than the SAD food. we have ate good for years by buying whole grains in bulk and grinding them ourselves, then making whole grain breads etc. sometimes it runs 10-15 cents a pound instead of more like 1.00 a lb and up for store bought food. it does take a little more investment up front for a mill, but it pays for itself fast a

too much protein will cause leaching of calcium, = early ostioporosis. so get off meat and such as u can, the human body isn't built to process it, it's designed more like a vegan animal. we've lived vegetarian all our lives and work hard and are in fine health, a diet high in complex carbs from whole foods like whole grains and beans, veggies and fruit, working toward more raw as we can.

yep, it's good stuff. I was out hikin once in the spring way back in the wilds and came across some nice fresh grass, tried it and found it so sweet and tender, started munching it by the bundle like a delicious salad. it was free of unchewable fiber. wasn't wheat but sure was good. same family anyway.

I wonder! could it be? I wonder if such a problem is due to lack of nutrient in the food, check my post in gardening on nutrient dense food. i got a suspicion that's the problem. greens are supposed to have all those good things in them but as the minerals in the soil get used up the plant can't get it. and farmers in general arn't taught what they need.

I think there's many posible causes, but calcium shortage seems to be a prominate cause. the link i put under gardening on nutrient dense food gives some idea on how short the food we eat is on minerals, specially calcium. I've heard of there being a problem with Oxalic Acid counteracting calcium. that combined with the low calcium in soil may be cause enough for a calcium shortage in diet.

i won't buy strawberries or mushrooms, has nothing to do with eating too many though, it's because I've seen the statistics, (packer newspaper) those 2 items have more chemical preservatives used on them than any other fresh food, get strawberries right from the farm and it's better. or grow them.
